Pretty sure you have to kill 2nd boss for the mobs to fully fuck off
And what mob it is changes weekly, every captain has a mob tied to them. You can check that in mdt

I like freehold, you can easily find most % wherever you find yourself lacking %. What I mean by that is that there is a number of ways to make up for missed %. One of the best ones I've found is to simply run into the 3 packs after last boss and get that 8% without any team work needed.
if you find yourself lacking % by 3rd boss, just pull one extra pack around the event in downtime, bring the remaining mobs onto the miniboss etc

you can revenge/ss spam for some significant damage hypothetically
@cosmic canyon the problem with doing this for damage is 1) you're weaving a single target ability in to an aoe situation => not optimal for damage output 2) Revenge costs 20 and ss gives 15. even if it always reset SS you'd be spending rage faster than you get it. 3) it requires you to ignore your defensive spenders. You wont be able to maintain SB or ip while doing this which limits where its effective

itll take you like, everything taking into account, maybe like 3-4hrs per character per week to keep up to speed
in bfa 8.3 it was actually even less
if you dont do maw dailies, and only your weekly stuff on alts, its like 2hrs of maintenance per week per character
