So, is anyone else having issues with overpulling within M+? My group seems to get additional mobs/packs for no reason at all.

The key with balance is that you can't balance everything out perfectly. The example i shall provide is 8.3(and the problem of general community becoming more and more meta-driven for no reason).

While some things stayed completely unbalanced(healers...), tank balance was consistent throughout most of that patch with dominance of prot warrior becoming a thing only in the highest keys, while as keys below +28 were completed by all tanks, which is a pretty good sign that even specs with less favourable mitigation profiles(BDK as the finest example) were able to compete on a level beyond what 99% of the community is able to do(just as i am a lowkey casual dude who ran 22's on my warrior as my long-standing main for 4 years by now).

The key is that you can't balance shit by 0% difference due to completely different designs and styles of play incorporated in every single tank spec. Every spec has its own damage/healing/mitigation profile that is unique to it, and it is a pain to balance all the things to stay within 0.1% of each-other. So, my point of assumption, just as the one Steve mentioned in his message earlier, is when every spec of the role can complete said content on par outside of world first race and outstandingly high keys with the level of scaling we've seen in BfA(30+ keys for reference to such), then that aspect is balanced
