If you're having survivability problems, you're playing wrong
Like straight up. No stat or spell reflect is going to make you not die. You have to do your overall rotation properly. You can use Spell Reflect 0 times in an entire dungeon and not die or even feel like you're going to as long as you're playing properly and kicks are going out like theys hould be.

It can be. Provides a bit more Vers than a 7th vers Amp. Has about 50% uptime for a tank. I wouldnāt run it over 7th Vers Amp though. And def donāt run it if not Vers amping

im new to Prot Warrior, and hopefully will be attempting heroic for the first time this week. in my normal runs, im noticing Wrathion trucks me pretty hard with his searing breath. other than blowing shield wall the first time im going to take a second stack, what can i do to mitigate the damage? my ignore pain is only giving me an about 60k absorb shield, which is isnt much considering the breath does almost 300k before the bonus 80% from searing armor.

I've heard of TD damage being increased from vers as well, seeing as it procs more often the higher your haste is I think it's very likely vers works too

Details list damage taken from safeguard as taken from safeguard and not from the safeguarded ability (it's the same for paladin's BoSacrifice), when you go on damage taken by spell. I don't know if damage taken by safeguard is reduced by versatility though, so I don't know if you're seeing what you prevented on others, or if you're seeing a number lower than what you prevented. (my guess it's that it's not reduced by versatility, but can't tell for sure). And if you intervene agressively you can reach fairly meaningful numbers (~20% of spit gold damage for instance)

Raiding != m+.
They might know their class rotation and know how to DPS/where to stand/what to avoid in raids etc but that doesn't make them solid in m+.
M+ has too many variables starting from group composition,pull sizes, affixes etc. + there's plenty of things that they might not do in raid but actually would have to do in m+ . . e.g hunters using Binding Shot/Soothe etc.

Iām sitting at ilvl 450 rn, so I can finally join my guild for heroic Nya, but I took another look at my stats and I realize that my versatility is really low, (6%) but my crit haste and mastery is much higher. Whatās a number that I should be shooting for?

The thing you want most is ilvl. Vers is only something that comes into consideration in 23+++ keys. So nothing you're even close to even have thoughts about it.
I literally did 22s with 3% vers
And you have like 12% (or 18% can't remember) mastery baseline you can't get less than that, now take cloak and neck into it
