Unless doing 24+ keys, Haste trinkets will generally give you the highest value.

Note: If you are using Lingering Psychic Shell and not using it every 60-90 seconds you lose a ton of value and would be better to just use another haste trinket or alch stone.
Note: I push 25s and do not have a LIngering Psychic Shell. It would be useful in some pulls I do but I survive just fine without it to give you an idea of when to start using the trinket over vita or alch stone or scale.

@still pagoda Thats false. All the top tank streamers have not said what specs are good or not from a tuning perspective. It has been a feel perspective and honestly, warrior does feel pretty bad on beta right now compared to Live, especially compared to Blood and Prot Pally
And considering that these players have been playing the spec at the highest level for the last 5-6months , (at least from a dungeon perspective) means their input has a ton more value than yours or mine. Especially since they are most likely playing the spec at a higher level than either of us.

Top tank streamers are even cheerful about all specs for now, but by a certain category i mean those who're not really top, forum doomsayers, some certain "WF raiders" who do some utter shit in 2 dungs without even figuring out what the spec can be done(you know who i mean and who then claimed that "all warrior mains are idiots").
The problem of prot rn is of course that it plays differently and rather clunky. Clap spam and current levels of haste are gone. Maybe it will change, maybe it will not, but the other much bigger problem is in the influence some popular streamers can bring to the table, barring 1-2 specs from ever doing pugs. We've discussed this briefly in #698541559049748520 yesterday or this Friday(i don't remember on which one exactly)

In no particular order:
- You frequently use Last Stand as an oh shit button and almost always when you have two Shield Block charges available.
- You literally never used Intercept the entire dungeon. Not one time. Instead you heroic throw to pull even on bosses, and you don't always even taunt first.
- You frequently sit at 100 rage despite Shield Block being down and no IP active.
- You sometimes appear to be pressing nothing even though TC and/or SS are off CD (might be pressing Devastate but if that's the case, you're pressing Devastate too much).
- You are not keeping Demo Shout and Avatar on CD as much as you should be, and/or you're using them when the pack is literally seconds from death.
- You turn your back to mobs...a LOT. Watching you get meleed by blob lieutenant and a giga enraged Sand Queen with your back turned had me going 😬
- You have long periods of time with no Shield Block active despite very clear WeakAuras telling you that you don't have it up and sitting at 2 charges.
I think I remembered everything but I'm sure there's stuff I missed.

The reason you don't do it is because you may not actually need it immediately after the first one expires
Like take Soul Goliath as an example (the tree guy in Waycrest)
If he's casting Soul Thorns as your 1st SB is ending, then you wasted that 2 seconds if you double pressed
Because he wasn't hitting you
That's why we don't spam SB to stack the duration, because it's more efficient not to. But like I said, better to double press it than not press it
