Dodging and parrying completely avoid the attack; they basically make it so the attack never happened. No damage happens, no effects that that attack would have applied happens.

Blocking is, from a general perspective, not much different than popping Shield Wall, except it can crit and reduce damage by more.

And only works on blockable attacks

In general, the Thunder Clap spam is going to go away, yes due to various talent/spell changes.
We will have more CD's via Ravager/BV/Dragon Roar/Avatar to line up together and the Covenants/legendaries look promising.
It will play differently than now but i'd encourage you to just try out the SL prot as well before hanging it in the closet. 🙂

Depends, if you're going to do 25ish keys then yeah vers is the way to go, if you're not even gonna touch range of 20, go full vers with 2x IT
