@scarlet copper with the amount of reduced damage it takes it’s easy for the healer to pull off ya. I open with a taunt and rotation spam. Then a short heroic leap to have taunt back up. This way if the healer pulls you can taunt right away again. Once the bot takes the first hammer smash you should have enough threat.

In terms of raw dps, yeah. LPS will help fill gaps if a CD is misused or for a mistake and that's where people will point out that it's enabling poor play rather than being necessary
eye of rezan is a slightly worse version of dragonscale, I think it's worth like 5 ilvl less, so a 445 scale is better than a 450 eye

You use shield slam way more often than you'd use shield block, as shield block is the active mitigation of this spec you need to think about when you use it properly not by autopilot empty mind. there's no limiter on how often you can use shield block so you'd often overlap and run out of charges.

Until then go TD with 2x R1 Ineffeable Truth. Once you start pushing 24/25 keys switch to Vers with 2x R1 Ineffeable. You can do the math yourself to see if Surging Vitality is better than another Vers Amp. I believe there is a calculator/spreadsheet either In pins or somewhere.
