Chances are:
1)You are not using Shield Block/Bolster when getting hit
2)You are prioritizing Ignore pain over Shield Block
3)You are not playing the AM circle correctly.

You can reach close to 100% uptime on block without needing to stack mastery and actually playing your class

@stiff inlet stacking verse and having td is what alot of prot warriors do regardless of progression or farm it seems to me, I'm 473 and there's nothing in mythic nya that was really kicking my ass due to normal raid dmg going out. Verse makes heals more potent so the more verse you have the easier it is to heal you

if you don't mythic raid then Kraken Shell or Tank Buster shoulders are ok substitutes
