Started gearing up about 4 days ago so i have limited echoes. Wondering whether i should spend echoes on essences or corruption? How much of a difference do minor essences make for tanking? Can i get by with the rank 1/2 of Lucid/CNS/Aegies with Rank 3 VoP Major or should i dump echoes into them?

what level keys do you do? Vision is also a fantastic choice.
You pop lucid right after avatar but before demo
And you spam the living heck out of ignore pain to not rage cap. Literally mash that button. Demo shout gives 80 rage.
You can do the regular avatar rotation during lucid and get avatar back off CD for 40 seconds of continuous avatar
It's rather hard to die in lucid so use it for mongo trash pulls or as an answer to certain boss mechanics (rezan bleed, shadow of zul, etc)

IP is literally a mash every second
keep up block like normal. For an opener if I'm doing a pull with lucid it's something like avatar -> lucid -> charge + block -> tclap -> shout -> tclap (for threat) -> resume priority
which now that i read it is just "do your normal rotation"

@scarlet copper if you’re getting destroyed by water blasts by the attendants, let your party know to kick water blasts and fear/stun/etc wash away. They will keep recasting wash away and reduces the time they will cast water blast.
You can also range the water blasts. Think its 15 or 20 yd? But u can leap or walk out of range, they’ll follow and start to cast water blast, walk back a few steps and it will out range them and they will recast over and over until they are kicked. Great for pug teams

I saw a really cool strat once where they CCd the two attendants at the top of the stairs, then speed pot and grabbed essentially everything on those two levels, then brought them back into the beginning room. mass stunned them all to get their casts synchronized, then just LOSd around the pillar each time cast almost finished

the braziers on the stairs are snap points as well, so they're excellent for grouping all the casters up (keeping in mind that if they're in range to cast on you, they will do that rather than snap)

So basically... pull basically the entire courtyard (can do lust on a big pull). Then take first obelisk all the way to the pack of 5 Bilge Rate Looters across the bridge inside. Use that corner room to drop sanguine appropriately. Then pull bridge pat and then the pack sitting next to the gate (has two arsenists in it).

Once that's all done, tell everyone to go back into obelisk and wait along the wall (in LOS of the bridge). you run across the bridge and activate the blob obelisk. then quickly run (speed pot) to the group who is now LOSing everyhting. Eyes will snap to you as blob is crossing bridge and dps can aoe them down real fast. Then just kite blob to the next level upstairs. I brought it to the corner room with all the arsenists (again, use those big corner rooms for the space to drop sanguine)
that essentially got all the hard shit out of the way, dungeon is pretty straightforward after that

Ilvl will almost always be king on weapons. That said, servant splitter is very very good ST damage even at equal ilvl.

I usually just let people know at start that we plan to skip it and assign someone to do it and make sure they understand what that means and let them know they can enter another portal to join us (same for any folks that die). I have that conversation up front in AT groups. I run around +12-16s. I assume at higher tiers this knowledge/plan is a given.

Oh, I believe you. I was just answering your question on why people talk about stacking vers so much haha. Its because thats what the streamers that push HIGH M+ keys are doing. So thats what their Mythic raid gear looks like as well since they probably don't have full sets of corruption builds.
I was in that category just a week ago when I joined this disc. I thought for sure I was supposed to stack vers haha. Then you guys set me on the right path with Haste build with IT and TD 🙂

Has anyone done the analysis of CnS Rank 2 vs. Aegis in a minor slot. Seems CnS is better sub 4 targets vs. Aegis granting more vers at 4 or more. I would hazard that most pulls involve 4-6 targets but am not entirely sure on that.

for sure at least in terms of beating CnS rank 3 since you can get 10 stacks for 820 vers rather than 8 stacks for 520 vers (not mob size dependent). Rank 2 is only 325 vers though so aegis passes it or is equivalent at 4 stacks
