@royal rune its not necesarily a survival gain to go all in on versa

ignoring the obvious "hurr durr things dead they can't attack you" and putting aside TD entirely

as long as you're playing the class properly and are comfortable with the kit, haste is a better defensive stat

so you get more out of an expedient + haste gems/chants in the early 20s than you would versa

(and also the 'mandatory' 2IT1's

versa stacks up super slowly 86 per .5% dr is... really lackluster

so haste (and to a degree crit) are more efficient defensive stats at reducing damage taken point for point

that being said versa is also the brain dead stat, itll work even if you arn't playing the class decently

so it comes down to how comfortable you are
