Trying to fit gear sets in around a twilight set and a verse set. How much of a difference might I be looking at if I'm choosing 475 non socketed pieces over 465 socketed haste verse pieces. Does the ilvl just win out regardless of how hard you are playing into verse? I'm struggling to get above 2k vers prioritising ilvl without losing 4+ sockets.

I was slightly looking at that sheet someone posted on the surging value seeming better until you got much higher base rating. I'm trying to get to 24s but I was feeling the magic damage in certain dungeons last time at 23s, waycrest specifically. That's what I assumed the consensus on sockets is other than rings is still around 5 ilvl? Most of my choices are sockets on 465 vs non socketed 475s so i can probably ignore that.

Yeah in terms of obviously avoidable stuff we aren't too bad. Its the shit that starts hurting at that key level that you ignored previously that im more worried about. The magic cleaves in waycrest specifically they just get lost in the noise at lower levels when you get high enough they seem to stand out.

and generally its not worth it to think about the versa build till yo'ure close to/at +24's
IT 1's are worth investing in as a filler at any level tho

also the urchin thing, andybrew uses urchin because he's a monk and they benefit from the healing way more than prot does, and just because naowh uses urchin, doesn't mean overall statistically it's better
The top m+ people tend just to play a lot more and that's how they get their score

You open the game - enable advanced combat logging (or use a addon to do it automatically, plenty of them), open the desktop program, you start live logging - you can see where the log file is and it'll live log.

yea you don't have to do anything. Overtime as you log more and more your combatlog file can get quite large so it's not bad to delete it every now and then if you have space issues

you only used last stand 7 times and 0 shield wall uses
those cooldowns are great for when you dont have more shield block charges
shield wall should also be used before taking a/some heavy hits to reduce the damage taken even more. you can overlap wall+shield block/last stand if you have to, but generally you dont need to right now
