all of the 'tank' middle row traits are pretty lackluster for us
and Overwhelming Power/Unstable Flames are basically the best you can get

i have this friend who gets annoyed at how squishy i am in raids so trying to fix things around
switched to 3x bastion, 1x deafening crash, 1x incite the pack (mastery buff), 1x swirling sands
hoping that i notice a difference since i didnt have crash or 3x bastion

ive played wow since vanilla but i never got into hardcore raiding or mythic stuff, just pvp/normal raids so never had a big need to do the min max checking - id like to now though

go to the bottom and select Patchwerk, 1 boss (change boss # for cleave/add fights, like hivemind its safer to do a 5 boss patchwerk) 5 minutes

thats assuming raid only, for M+ theres a few other things you can do to be more accurate

but unless yo'ure under geared and pushing in world first race, or pushing extremely high keys its usually better to min/max for damage
the differences in 'tankiness' is inconsequential in most content, and you can actively help your group progress with better damage by helping with dps checks, or speeding through tough phases/mechanics

and that the heal from it allows a little more time for hte healer to contribute to dps

is LSP is good for burst hits
with enough versa you no longer need that burst absorbed, you're tanky enough w/o the cd
and urchin gives a lot of consistent healing
