Any tips on kiting off necrotic in PUGs where nobody wants to help with snares. So far i will shockwave and leap or use intercept, the only problem is I lose aggro. The Sphere of Suppresion looks nice as a major for necrotic weeks however. Thoughts?

Top gear has a section called gems and enchants where you can select which enchants will be put on unenchanted gear, you can also select to overwrite current enchants
By the time you have to shockwave and leap out you should have a very solid threat lead
You can easily reach 30+ stacks without having to leave

It splits. So 10 targets it would do approximately .1% per target per second. It’s a little higher than that as it increases up to like 6 targets. But close enough that it doesn’t matter.

Hello Guys, i Just Started to Play Protection Warrior what in my Opinion ist the Moste Fun to Play Tank. But in Mythic+5 or more i feel like i get destroyed sometimes by the mobs i Got 440 GS so now im looking for some advice like Defensive usages of Priorities in my Abilities..

They're running it cuz of the double vers gain from cns major cuz in giga keys you rely on stacking vers to survive most stuff without struggling as much

Hi guys, I tanked a necrotic / bursting / tyrannical +10 Atal Dazar yesterday. My Gearscore is 461 and I have about 700k hp (13% crit, 26%haste 32%mastery, 16%vers, 25% parry, 27% block). I had massive problems surviving every single pull. After a few seconds I had 20+ necrotic stacks and wasnt able to mitigate the dmg at all. The healer was always struggling to keep me alive. Any experienced Prot that could give me a few tips?

Necrotic only affects how much you get healed, at +10 you should be able to tank until 40-50 stacks without feeling uncomfortable

Bursting aside could be lots of things. it's rotational issues like not keeping cds rolling, sb up, avatar and demo and other stuff on cd, or spamming deva but we couldn't know without logs
What it absolutely isnt, is your secondary stat distribution.

The WoWhead prot warrior guy says this about the sphere of suppresion minor essence: "The sole drawback is that the Haste and Speed buff will not trigger against enemies that are immune to slows, which means bosses and generally the most dangerous trash mobs in Mythic+. That's a pretty huge drawback. Bummer! " I just tested this on multiple bosses in M+ and the haste buff was indeed proccing even when the bosses are immune to slow

Sphere is basically 300 haste with 100% uptime in combat

Keep in mind sphere is both a buff on you and a debuff on the enemy. Youll always get the buff on you from taking melees. The debuff wont always go out or actually affect certain mobs

In russian tooltip it is said "chance of block", in english "increase your Block".

I would say not to worry about it. Take the highest shield you can: you're not going to get block from many other sources unless you have some just absolutely horrid azerite rolls
Also if im wrong and a softcap both existed and was attainable it would not scale with key level.
The block DR formula is just a function of the Block stat and the k-value, which is a magic number and is static for all mythic+ keys
