its getting to 1k and then conquest capping for a buncha weeks
if you get to 1600 you only need to conquest cap for 3 to get it
and you can cap conquest with open world pvp stuff so after you hit 1600 you never have to set foot in an arena again

You dont have to taunt any mob to pull the 4 adds around galecaller or whatever her name is
Just go to the far ledge and slowly approach the pack while staying on the ledge
You'll body pull an add and the galecaller big add will stay there out of combat

With this in mind, I'm running a smaller sim that should make it easier to see how close your TD pieces are to your EV ones
Because TD performs excellently on several raid fights
And you can always get lucky and have it go nuts, whereas EV is very consistent

But in my experience both setups could perform similarly with some luck. I didn't bother changing your enchants or anything, as my raidbots subscription is capped at 5 million combinations
I also didn't realize that your CnS was rank 1, and I locked in your essences to CoF / Visions / Null / CnS
and void, if the sim deemed it worth it

Just realize that your best corrupted gear are those pieces with TD/EV/expedient and to a lesser extent TA

The only difference between the sim i linked and the one you just linked is a vers enchant on your ring of cosmic potential
I didn't overwrite any of your enchants cause i wasn't sure if you use them for dps sets or whatever
In general for raids you'll find vers >= crit > haste > mastery for pure damage

The BiS residuum helm has you choosing between DC and Bloodsport
in fact 2/3 of the helms that have BoM have DC as the only other decent option to go with that BoM trait
So ideally you take DC on helm and have a chest piece that has something else
But it's not a huge deal and if you ever do mythic vex her chest is very very good

Necrotic stacks don't matter if you're taking 0 damage
it's just the healing reduction while it's bursting
and the dot itself doesn't do that much damage

since the TC spam build is hurt pretty bad
defensively they're described as "really solid"
and in the top 2 or 3 rn given current tuning (bound to change) and the one dungeon available (might not be an accurate representation of the damage profile)
so even if you ignore the fact that its still way earlier to hop on the doom and gloom train because of tuning and other CORE parts of the kit being missing in the form of soulbinds and legos

Hey guys I’m starting to tank more as prot war but I’m not comfortable navigating thru my active mitigation or priority. I have WAs to help me but I find myself focusing too much on them while tanking and not looking at my surrounding. Prot rotation is easy but it’s different when you’re in m+ and are trying to navigate thru packs of adds. I need a good set of WAs that will make my life easier. I have tried several packs from wago but it hasn’t helped. I saw some prot war streams and nerfclap (I think his name was) doesn’t even use a whole lot of WAs for his prot war and only has like a SB WA. I’m not even sure how he can tank with just having that and or two other ones I saw.

MDI had a lot of different major essences being played for prot warrior, I'm currently running 14-15s and trying to push up into the 16-17 range, what's the thought process behind some of the niche picks we saw like strength of the warden and touch of the warden?
I guess that could be rephrased as "are there specific scenarios outside of MDI where I should be thinking of swapping my major essence off the default of VoP as I move into the upper teens for keys?"

Mdi is going as big, fast and risky as you can
Whereas live keys are about solidity, safe plays and picks
Sotw major is run for when you are about to pull 30+ mobs and you have 1/2 dks going absolute ham and dealing insane dmg, more dmg than you could physically generate as aggro without it

you can apply the same logic to MDI keys
but the TLDR of it is no, unless you're breaking into the +20 range of keys your best go-to loadout will always be VoP major, CnS, Lucid, and either SotW or Sphere minors for the majority of keys
