and @lunar jackal for 10-19 range VoP Major, CnS, Sphere and Lucid minors will serve you best in most cases

Null can be useful higher up, or in workshop for the st dps (in most other cases its not worth it for the dps given it doesn't scale into aoe as well as stat essences, and you won't be able to reliably proc it on cd as you would in raid. and its not worth it defensively till you start getting close to 20's because until that point magic damage is either totally avoidable via kicks and stuns, or just not scary. and using it will NOT save you from bad kicks/stuns)

aegis has its uses if you play(pull) around it so you're always in combat with ~6+ targets (but this can be annoying outside of fortified weeks because to be on par with other essences it needs that aoe, so unless you pull mobs into bosses its essenctially worthless for large parts of the run)

and depending on if you like free rage or a little bit of 100% uptime haste, you can dip out your Lucid or Sphere for the corruption res minor

i strongly pref formless, but i also run in premades and get 50+% uptime on it

@polar cloak We are not a self-healing tank. We specialize in not taking damage in the first place. The only time you would use Anima instead of Vision is in island expeditions, and it's more for the massive burst on a huge pack of mobs than for the heal.

It was like 43% of my damage in the dungeon or some stupid shit

stacking DC isn't a thing anymore because they nerfed UF after season 2 from 100% more DC damage to only 30%

so nowadays other stuff often gives you more dps

even in crazy big pulls

things like MS/clockwork heart and HoD are super stronk

and have the upside of being very strong defensively as well

tldr a talent nerf post season 2 nerfed stacking it

and the other options also all scale corruptions so

If you don’t want to do comms the best thing to do would be get an auto marking WA and assign people kicks to a specific marker / make sure kicks and CCs are being tracked / or called out in chat.

I would recommend comms for those keys, even in pugs, but can understand why some people may not want to use comms with pugs - Incase they are toxic

Comms are necessary I know, but playing with randoms and having people sighing or changing their tone of voice mid key can result in some form of lesser quality from me.

I feel that on 18s the stars have to align in pugs for keys to happen naturally, I have noticed that people over 3k are the chilliest players I have ever met and most people 2.0-2.6 act very arrogant. That io is nothing imo and I am sitting at 2.2 myself

but arn't necesarily running the optimal builds

they fool around and try new things

hence the leech memes

in some cases stacking DC gives you more damage than other options

for me personally MS and HoD sims much much higher

and as riki says those actually have a defensive component as well

and not to mention those other options boost your corruption damage as well

while dc doesn't

Option 1: Legs + Belt both got TD1, I could pair those with an 470 weapon and void ritual T2 on my 470 hands
Option 2: Faralos HC, Legs 6% haste from all sources, Belt TD1 and Hands 465 ooze blood corruption T1
