It's just a number that gets plugged into a formula to determine what % of damage you block against your current enemy.
The formula has a variable in it called a k value that changes based on the content you're doing (normal, heroic, mythic, m+)

its value is in super coordinated groups in like 18+ keys where you make massive pulls every 2 minutes and absolutely need 40s of uninterrupted avatar + critical block to live
that plus the crazy amount of rage lets you IP spam so your healer can focus on dpsing
but theres a skillcap to it because its really easy to misplay and waste rage
so if you don't absolutely need back to back avatar and are playing around using it, VoP will serve you better
both offensively and defensively

@glass kraken Yeah that trinket is not really good at all. The heal is tiny, and the armor is irrelevant even if it were stacked to full and had 100% uptime. You replace that as soon as possible.

Use Vial in the global after you cast Avatar, not at the same time. Otherwise you waste the biggest part of the trinket.
Lucid is used for very high keys when you absolutely have to have 40 seconds of Avatar back-to-back to survive. Most people do not need to run it. If you do use it, you just use it with Avatar (when pulling big) and make sure you don't cap rage.

@ivory barn If you don't want another addon, you can also just divide by your haste. E.g. if you have 20% haste you just do 1.5 (base GCD) / 1.2 (your haste)

I don't actually know for sure but it could very well work with ITF, just slightly differently. e.g. You have 1k haste, the 9% from all sources bumps that to 1090, and then ITF gives you the multiplicative 15% of whatever rating that comes out to be.

How do haste procs affect sb recharge since the proc won't last the entire recharge time. Example racing pulse is ~1200 haste for 4s, which would reduce the recharge by, say 1.5s, or something along those lines
