Hi all, question about tanking on the second boss fight in shrine of the storm on m+. Pretty much every pug I’ve been in wipes on it multiple times. I try to interrupt the slicing blast as often as possible but it gets hard when I have to kite the other boss/move them out of wards. Should I be trying to run into reinforcing wards more to remove stacks/staying on galecaller more to interrupt?

I don’t think I’m dying from necrotic on the boss fight, so either tornadoes or just boss abilities. Based on meters I’m usually the one interrupting the most so maybe dps not interrupting the most, but I’m wondering whether I need to prioritize my own interrupting over kiting etc

well if necrotic isn't killing you, then either the magic casts are not being interrupted and lack of heals, or too many stacks from hitting tornadoes/casts before emptying via wards

Could I get some help please-- I feel like I am stuck at M+11's as I am having trouble with survivability in these and especially anything higher.. I have noticed that I take much more damage and my health fluctuates a LOT more than other tanks with the same or even less ilvl than myself.
I do my best to stay out of harmful effects, I keep Shield Block up as much as I possibly can, I use Ignore Pain shortly after or right away if I have the rage to do so, I use Demoralizing should when pulling large groups or in a pinch, Last Stand (with bolster) when I am still tanking large groups after Shield Block falls off or need a burst of HP and Shield Wall as my "oh shit" button. I have 3x Bastion of Might azerite and 2x Deafening Crash on my azerite gear, level 75 neck with Vision of Perfection major, Lucid Dreams, Anima of Life and Conflict & Strife as my lessers. On the rest of my gear I try my best to get Haste/Versatility over other stats.
If anyone can give me some advice, help or tips I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Not sure but Tankbuster requires lit nothing as Prot. It takes away 70% Hp on +16 but with SB up it hits you like a fluffy bunny with Autos afterwards, only shitty one is the fear guy if you want to tank it and not kite it, because necro stacks and the bite dot

@quick elk currently, the generally accepted goal is to go for offensive corruptions.
They far outweigh the benefit of any defensively oriented corruptions. Most of our survivability comes from proper play - Ie using block / IP / CDs at the right time etc.
If I had to pick, it would be incredibly hard because, IMO, it depends on the content you’re doing and your stats. I’d say likely one of the extra % to secondary stat ones but I’m not entirely sure.
Overall, I wouldn’t worry about pursuing defensive corruptions right now

So, in my experience, it was likely a combination of the following
You start out fine, the adds strt attacking you, you get the bleed debuff / necrotic stacks
Then the dps start to kill the adds - you get bursting
You now have 1-5 stacks of bursting that likely rolled, the necrotic debuff, and a nasty bleed on you

If you don’t have major cooldowns / haven’t started to kite away from the mob you’re dead. Even if you have cooldowns you could die

I’m having a survival issue with some fights. I’m always sure that my shield lock and ignore pain is up but I’m still being chunked and I can tell my heals are scrambling. I swapped out my gems and enchants from haste to vers but have yet to try out in raid yet. I’m seeing an improvement in mythic+ though. Not sure if I’m missing something or if it was simply a lack of versatility
