So I’ve kinda slept through the whole mythic + scene. I’m finding a whole lot of enjoyment in pushing keys, but I can’t help but always be disappointed in my performance even we push. I feel like I’m playing my class well, and know my strengths and weaknesses as well as my limits. Where I’m struggling, is missing the knowledge and experience to be a leader and I think knowing that is clouding my decision making/on the fly choices. Is tanking all about experience? Is there a good place to check out an in depth guide of the dungeons that will help tanking high keys? My friend is also playing resto shaman and a lot of people keep telling him to change if he wants to push keys, should we listen to that? Sorry if it seems a lot, I really want to do my best and improve any way I can.

I did my first few awakened last night. First one was underrot which went horribly, though I can’t take all the blame for that one.
I did notice improvements. I just lack the tanking experience to not feel a little nervous every time we put that keystone in.

lowkeys don’t really help. Try to find a few reliable dps and keep playing together. Use marks for interrupts - you can assign them to each player (or call out each interrupt on coms but I wouldn’t recommend that if you’re new to tanking). If you want to keep pushing higher start logging your runs and check them afterwards.

Yeah, strongly recommend Loggerhead
It's an addon that will ask you at the start of each instance if you want to log it, and then once you say yes to a particular one, it autologs that dungeon. So you can say no to heroic/regular mythic, and then yes (after keystone is put in and activated) to the "challenge mode" question, and it'll always log Mythic+ for that dungeon.
