First things the mobs usually do is melee you. Getting rid of the first melee doesn't really do much for you since you rarely rush into a new group without SB/LS/Avatar up.

See,the point is that vulpera racial prevents irrelevant damage for protection warriors which is melees. Meless for protection warriors are literally a non-issue. Things like bleeds/magic damage/nature dots/buffs on enemies are dangerous to us.

but you get 2 vessels as part of the intro quest line, plus ~17.5k coalesced visions + any bonus from dailies/rares/chests
so with the 6k from daily mini-visions quest and 5.5k from the second small assault later in the week, and a few more dailies you have 5 vessels this week which gives you all 5 upgrades to get to rank 6

@limpid pawn You get a 440 bracer (thus far it seems it's guaranteed to be corrupted with Void Ritual) from the Uldum assault, a 445 item (that may or may not be corrupted) from the Vale assault, and a 430 item from the intro quest for the horrific visions (which may or may not be corrupted)
I believe the intro quest one scales though because I've seen people get 420s rather than 430s.

All do is run Haste/Vers if I want more survivability and haste/crit if I want to hit things harder and I take a haste/mastery in some slots if its a upgrade, BUT item level is still king so ANY significant increase in stats is better then not increasing a stat because your afraid of a little bit of possible haste loss

In a perfect world we could all have perfect sets of 100% haste/crit for M+ and Haste/Vers for raid but its not a perfect world so if its a big upgrade screw the secondary's and wear it
Plus my god there are so many ways to get extra haste in this patch being at a defensively relevant amount of haste should never even be a issue in the first place. If it is your probably going to great efforts to avoid haste and that would be beyond bad.
