and as far as what you 'need' to get into the raid, you need to do the 2ish hour long intro questline that walks you through corruption, assaults, mini assaults and the Vision scenario
so technically you do need the cloak to raid because it unlocks along the way

no reason you shouldn't be trying to upgrade it though, because its the only cloak that will drop from now on, and besides the corruption resistance you get a sizeable mainstat proc and possibly something else at rank 15, due to timegating the highest ppl have gotten on ptr are 13 rn so we'll see

Warrior will still be in a good spot next tier for m+. We don't have any changes coming our way and our best major essence is getting a buff. Dungeons have been receiving some fixes as well to some deadly abilities. The only addition as others have already stated is the corrupted gear and their benefits/disadvantages. Our damage is still going to be top-notch and so is our survivability. If anything we will become more popular than monks again due to the nerfs they received and Emissaries being gone.

@abstract meteor IF does damage on blocking attacks AND increases your block. Majority of m+ dungeons is physical/blockable damage meaning you will gain a lot of value out of it.
Reckless Flurry only increases your single target DPS and provides literally 0 other benefits.
Reckless Flurry is used ONLY for single target damage "parsing" in raids.

It's especially going to be nice in the start of 8.3 because you're going to be getting hit harder in dungeons due to the k values changing, so that's also worth thinking about.

If you want to improve your single target on tyrannical weeks there are more beneficial options in the grand scheme of things like BfI which also provides a good amount of damage on ST while also giving a defensive benefit.
In general this should not be needed tho.
