Replying to a little bit older msg concerning Pillar B in M+. 500k in 15s every 10sec(this is the crucial part, 10sec CD on the abilities) is the problem atm. Not the damage itself, as a fairly well geared 445+ prot war will have 600k+ HP with stam scroll. Thing to consider ESPECIALLY early on, is ignore pain optimisation. Depending on your current mastery/AP/versa which scales up ignore pain, you can bring the 500k number to 375 (my own IP goes up to 125k max), without mitigation. Gearing up AP/Mastery with next tier will also empower this (we're talking about 15s key); My concern about the scaling on high key is the required time to hold on aggro if we need to kit/run a lot. you may wanna compare this tank buster abiltie like Rezan bleed, stack up IP right before the hit, and have a proper defensive rotation with your team IF you need to facetank 1-2 of em completely.

Looking at the new crafted gear in 8.3 - the fact that blacksmithing legs / belt have a specific corruption - if they corrupt - and that this corruption is 4% more haste / crit from all sources (depending on the piece) makes me think these are going to be extremely powerful
