One thing to consider is that Raidbots does not take into account any sort of movement meaning you'd always stand in the pool.
In m+ however there's a lot of movement/kiting involved.

Most of m+ tanking comes down to class knowledge/groups overall DPS and dungeon/pull knowledge.
We have no idea about these.

It's not only you in higher keys - it's the whole group.
If people don't interrupt you WILL die. Regardless of how well you play. Same for overall DPS etc.

Best thing you can do for yourself is getting a consistent group to play with

Much easier to learn and practice when the quality of teammates doesnt change every run

Not only the voice comms in a consistent group but it’s also important to have an understanding of how your team will react to situations. You get this by running with them and people slip into roles so that some things don’t need to be said.

I know that the spriest I run with is going to start on enchanteds and then my rdruid will take over about 1/3-1/2 way through after things are stabilized.

I know on certain bosses / pulls that the hdh I run with is going to get every interrupt and we want him to do it so he gets more fury
