There is no %based attacks
We midigate a ton of physical dmg
So we just take less dmg than other tanks
We have an average HP pool than other tanks, only guardian BDK and vdh having more which scale with dmg taken
And then heal back up some of the dmg they take
Whereas prot just doesn't take alot of dmg to begin with
Getting more HP isn't gonna make you tankier as warrior.
Just equip you highest ilvl gear and focus on getting haste if you can
For the rest just frequent the icy veins guide to start off
Warrior is the 2nd best tank if played correctly, monk is currently the strongest and monk has the lowest HP pool of all tanks

meta is usually Vision major, CnS minor (or aegis if you don't have r2 CnS), and then either Sphere of Suprression or Null depending on how heavy the magic is
and if you want the reasoning to veer away from lucid, irrc the proc rate isn't high enough to give a decent return of rage, so the slot is much better used for the guaranteed verse

Depends.
Usually you tie it to Avatar and want to use it at 7-8+ stacks (this is when your 2nd Avatar usually comes off CD).
If you have a burst phase or add phase coming up you can delay it.
But in general you pop it at start when you charge in so it starts getting the stacks. And around the time your Avatar comes back off CD it's roughly in the range of 7-8 stacks and then you can pop it again with Avatar.

So, I’d start by trying to get a different shoulders and chest for azerite pieces. The dream for m+ is 3 BoM 1 DC and 2 Meticulous schemeing
You’re getting to the point where you need the defensives imo. Bloodsport isn’t that good, but I can’t remember what else is available.
Crit isn’t bad for us in m+ because of damage and parry. You’ll see some people going for that.
Like you said, a shield would be nice. However, it’s not a “must have” upgrade at only 5 ilvls. The first three bosses are pretty easy and you can do them. It’d be nice to get, don’t get me wrong, I’m just saying it’s not the end of the world if you don’t

@cinder storm yes, it would make a difference. Maybe 1.5%extra damage blocked. Like 41% to 42.5% ish. (Those specific numbers are made up but close). Checking neck essences and stuff
Defensively I’d throw in lucid instead of aegis. That would be the ideal option. It also helps with offense as you get more demo shouts and avatars

Nothing hard to deal with. Just keep Shield Block/Last Stand (Bolster) up and you'll be fine. Be sure to use Demo shout and Avatar on cd.

How do yall handle the downstairs phase?
Were starting it off with me tanking first, then I help move the naga adds to the tank with the zoatroid adds and she taunts em off me. I soak any zoatroid pools that drop as we kill the witch and berserker. I feel theres a better way to go about it, theres moments where we just collapse to trying to handle all the adds and I feel its somehow my fault

The add tank picks up all the adds,you just chill on the boss. Get misdirects or w/e neccessary on him
Other than soaking adds when they die there's not much you can do about them.
So when you get down you kill of the remainig zoatroids from upstairs,have a immunity soak them..e.g a mage with iceblock. The add tank picks up any new coming adds while the boss tanks continue doing what they were doing upstairs. Have a soak order for Stomps(immunities). In general you will kill the first set of nagas with cleave and when the second set comes the boss should be low enough that you can just full on ST dps the boss while still soaking the Stomp.

@lament thorn The zonatoids + berserker can be aggroed with aoe from the add tank. Taunt one naga and do a leap reset + taunt for the second or a grip or let the current off tank it brink it to him and taunt it 8 sec later. Its just important you dont waste taunts on any other adds then nagas in that phase.

Like, my rsham is 2.8k XP pvp Arena master that's played since vanilla and has over 5k hrs on shaman alone, that might play into it
