ill admit that
i forget his name
but i saw a video of him calling nelson mandela a good hockey player
cause he didnt know who he was and assumed he was an athlete
jonathan bernier
thats it
hes cute and dumb
LMAO
Rofl
Damnit, laptop almost dead and I canβt each an outlet... now how do I watch hockey in class
i made sure to sit by an outlet in all my classes lol
most of our desks have outlets built in anyway
Yeah, but I canβt text / be on disc and watch hockey then
yes you can
iPhone and itβs harder
youre dead to me
To do both - as I stream it
YOUVE BEEN DEAD TO ME SINCE YOU ABANDONED US FOR CLASSIC
no u
Oof sick burn /S
nod nod
@sick sentinel yeah i simmed em and that was da best
It's also amazing defensively
Well yeah
My highest happiness sim is from @warm plinth
hmm
lmao
ghash does your wife know that you're been sugar daddying tofu π€
3 more groups ahead still... god damnit
i may have
volunteered for raid leading our pug 40 mans
and i instantly regret it
that sounds terrible
yeah but then i remembered i can mute everyone on discord
π
since i know the fights like the palm of my hand
priority voice me, mute everyone
its ok you only need 20 doing the job
So why bring 40
because i need 20 competent pugs to carry my 19 old school friends that should know the fights well considering all the farming we did back then
spoiler alert they will fuck up
π
Lol
Does a bear shit in the woods?
i see i see
@sand egret can you help answer that question?
oh christ here comes the super long-winded game dev explanation
you just noticed @lusty grotto ???
Lol
π
But yeah - waiting for rogue to come back and start pushing
π
π
Hi blade
Do bears shit in the woods? Youβre a bear - figured youβd know from experience
stupid bear
π‘
Sooooo, I'm tanking keys around the +14-16 range and looking to up my dps. Is razorcoral a sound choice in M+? I have access to a 430 razorcoral+socket, 430 inkpod, 440 butchers block and 440 briny barnacle
440 butchers block and I'd personally do inkpod but I'm sure coral wouldn't be bad either
Coral is pretty ez to use in m+ from what I've heard
Do you guys like the Alchemy trinket at all?
I get to experience a +10 underrot tomorrow
I did a 11 KR on tuesday was pretty easy but we didnt have a priest/belf
I'm alliance haha
So we got shit on with those little fuckers bolstering/fearing everyone
Meld
Gg ez
I was so mad, we nearly failed s +9 atal cause DPS stopped following me when we needed more trash
Had 6 seconds to spare
π€
Yeah, they went back mid while healer and i pulled more trash hah
Glad we got it, but it was closer than it should have been
I mean once you have a 10 to run its a breeze
Is there a guide to pathing for keystones?
Was doing TD 10 yesterday, double pull on top, and noone used cannons ;/
They have like how many shots now? 4, 6?
Cannons start with 100% energy, each shot is 20% energy so 5 shots.
I don't like the TD cannons, someone always gets killed
In PuG's more or less yeah.
But they should still be utilized since it speeds up much of the run.
Pugs are dum
factual
Or death skip cannons like good ole s1
yeah i will next time
Does anyone have any good advice on how to deal with the void emissary pack at the end of the bridge at boss 3 on King's rest with this weeks affixes?
I get absolutely shredded on that pack on every run more or less. THe Hex priestss nuke for 100k, the berzerkers dot hit for 80k a tick, grievous ontop of it, and then the void emissary explosion, and seemingly nowhere to LoS.
Facetanking it seem like a horrible idea, is the only alternative to just Aggro them and go for a marathon while DPS kill the emissary?
death skip
π€·
there's really no way around it
you can't lust that pack, since you want to lust zul
you could technically pull the pack waaaaaay back out of range of the emisary
but that's super innefficient
You'd have the build the group around 2x deathskips then, when going in and when going out? Or do u opt to kill the packs from the other end when going to last boss?
just 2 deathskips
if you have a br in your group it's enough
granted you don't use them up until then
Top warrior tank uses it ;D I think its okay.
its not
If you look at his talents he has probably used it in raid
In m+ the trinket is just a root
I stand corrected then π©
Yeah he ran it on raid
It's a channel.
Most channels prevent blocking.
I mean, thare is no way for new player to know it for example
Only thing i channeled remotely is Neltharion's Fury i think π€
cyka blast
At least NF was ok to block stuff
(Cyclotronic Blast)
i miss the times when you could actually block while channeling it
Ah not using it, have haste proc card in atm
I seen Sense using cyclo for m+ tho, it is something worth considering?
not really
unless like some low keys like 10s
im running urchin + alchemy or urchin + edicts on most keys
I run alchemy+edict
I was dps lootspec on ashvane
i have the hc version of urchin and edicts too
Was using block+urchin
Now im pretty much perma running edict+urchin
only have mechagon trink and phial atm at decent ilvl
but then again i rarely do higher than 10-11s so cba
Still havenβt been able to get an urchin I want one so bad lol
At least alch trinket feels super nice to have
@tight tree he uses it in keys
i was confused about it as well but he was running merektha's fang in a 23 TOS
he doesnt stream so it was hard to tell so I watched the perspective of someone in his group and you can see him channelling it a few times even in huge packs lmao
the rank 1 blood dk ran it as well to push push decent ST damage on triad during the tyran week, probably since it gave more burst than cyclo does
its better on dk because you dont get rooted like you do on warrior
Shockwave into merektha's
merekta is super good but also super dangerous
!!
it's bis
Just restore it
I wanna do underrot in prot lootspec
Get sporepods for arena
Sporepods are π
imagine not using cyclo and inkpod for arena
I was joking
What do you guys think about going defensive in keys? Like instead of unstable flames/ or OP. You go the shield, leech/avoidance
@sick sentinel unstable flames/OP is defensive
Leech and avoidance do nothing
And shield as in ablative shielding?
Which should never proc ever for a prot warrior that plays properly?,
What do you mean leech and avoidance do nothing ?
Leech and avoidance are a perk, not something you go after. Taking a leech or avoidance trait over something like OP or UF would not be better defensively.
hey hey, just started equiping my prot war and got the 3 diff spells activate 8k magic absorb OR 5k healing on up to 5 ppl wich one is better here?
What
thee mechagon bit bands. cant find anything on the guides about those two only the 160 haste one
So you have the protecting bit band and the rebooting bit band?
As well as overclocking?
I'd probably do the haste one or magic shield
I'm not sure what the stats are like on each ring though and that'd likely change my answer
If those are your best rings (and I'm assuming you don't have the haste proc one since you're asking about the others) and are all equal ilevel, then I'd go with the magic absorb probably, since there's no guarantee the heal won't be overhealing.
ah no misunderstanding there i only have the first two healing/ magic absorb dont have overclockin aka 160 haste
Go magic absorb then
yeah dont have any better rings yet anyway so i thought i could use those
okay, tyvm!
There's probably not much info about them because most people don't get big titanforged ones
So they're replaced quickly
@autumn pendant I remember having like 20% avoidance in legion
Was cash
was cash when tank abilities were aoe's
Yeah almost every Antorus fight it felt like
So is sporepods actually good in PvP and if so why...
Cause I gotta do some PvP this week
Cuz it's a 'big' proc
It's only shit pve cuz it's unreliable
@hallow phoenix they are great for pvp
I am running urchin in pvp cuz I always insta scrapped
Urchin/edict have proven nice in bgs for me
What RF nerf
Ah
Because auto attacks are hard to balance or something
This is for retail WoW @floral tinsel
Ops thx
So, blood mallet says to pick up devastator while Icy says booming voice.. I'm dusting off my prot warrior because I want to just have some fun for a while
hi guys
i just started play pro warrior
any tips which trinket and azerite we are using ?
and stats ?
You can also run your logs through wowA to get quick, easy, and decently accurate log review
Icy Veins is more defense oriented, blood mallet is more offense oriented @wanton trout
Alright... I double checked the Faq section since I'm breaking off a lot of rust.. Booming voice looks a great deal better on the net average..
Devastator is better ST damage only
While booming voice provides both an offensive and defensive benefit
^
If you are not a super confident prot player, booming voice is the default choice
If you feel you have good survivability and want to minmax you ST damage a bit, go with devastator
I really just want to have some fun and tank again.. I've been getting a bit bored of being a Ret Paladin so I want to spice my online time up
I was raiding and M+.. Mostly M+ for now until the raid team gets built back up
I should peek at that tank notes for Palace.. Does that apply for all classes?
There is a specific tank note for every class
Nice.. Maybe I can show this to the two tanks in the raid team
Tank notes are the only thing I use to learn a fight
Comparatively and of course item level being considered how useful is Phial from radiance for M+ dps for prot and of course comparing it against Razor Coral and Inkpod
It's okay. M+ is not really the ideal environment for it though, since you're rarely fighting single targets and then multiple targets (which is the ideal scenario for maximizing its damage). I've not used it myself, but I have heard people saying it sucks and people saying that it's good so ymmv.
Yeah I usually run Razor Coral and Inkpod or Butchers Block all are 430 so I switch around on a case by case basis, meaning based on which dungeon and how useful I feel it will be
I like Razor Coral with Butchers Block because well its a lot of crit, but unless its fort weeks I rarely get as much use from Coral until a boss of which then I just line it up with Avatar and the Butchers Block proc
by lining it up of course I mean cash in the stacks on a boss when the block procs
if its a fort week then it seems shitty for boss damage also because unless its a fair high key the boss dies so fast
Im only 425 so I'm still using defensive essences.
@waxen cradle Gore and ink gonna be ur most damage
Someone on Reddit is calling prot boring. Have they played blood dk?
At least prot warrior i feel like I have tools to use for a variety of things
or monk
or bear
quite a bit more picks that are less enjoyable even if it subjective
Warrior has more than 2 defensive skills. It's already ahead. Also it's gcd capped due to needing resets
Blood dk was really fun in legion
It felt slow to me in legion which made me sad after mop, but it was op
It felt good after you had like 30% haste pre boneshield
But any spec feels good with a lot of haste
And prot is swimming in haste haha
you're not fun
thanks
https://gyazo.com/f5707fcd38f83c8945e03e5ea01ef35f Out of these 3 given I will have 200k Residuum next week which would you guys buy and replace
between Helm of Abyssal Malevolence, Kraken Shell Pauldrons, and Ashvane Wardens Cuirass
Leaning towards Kraken Shell Pauldrons myself but was looking for a second opinion
Do tanks still generate 500% threat? So intercept->thunderclap will effectively aoe taunt?
not directly, taunt immediately takes the targets focus and damaging abilities just generate threat to pull over the pull threshold
The other reason I ask is my guild is very close to a kill on The Queens Court Mythic so hesitant to jump at buying shoulders when they could fall at any time
@static bane I believe the threat modifier is 350% in BfA. It was something stupid like 900% in Legion.
Actually, it could be more than 350% now too with the increases on the essence slots. I didn't think about that.
Ok
Yea im just trying to make sure i keep aggro on ad pulls in m+
Bosses and boss adds when they come up dont really phase me
Just sometimes when im with someone like a DH with crazy aoe i lose a couple ads at the start
Depends on gear difference and what they start with. If they just eyebeam or lazor essence without you having Avatar at the start you'll be bound to lose some for a second.
Ok
Well, DH specializes in burst AoE. If my tank doesn't have Avatar on the pull, no way they're holding off me with Beam/Iris
(I main havoc)
Thats basically what happens when i dont have avatar
pretty sure its like 427% with all essence slots
~430 sounds right
i may be adding a multiplier....legion i believe was a 10x multiplier and it got "nerfed" to a 4x
Yeah ^
and essences are ~ 3% per node
I thought they were 9% per node
π¦
Could be worse
It's like, titantitantitanforged.
hmmm
found it
Yeah this is what I was looking at https://www.wowhead.com/news=284658/threat-generation-nerfed-for-tanks-in-battle-for-azeroth
π
Hey, what do you recommend?
430 Vial of animated Blood vs 430 Briny Barnacle?
Vial
Speedy boy
2 pieces with speed and longstrider
jesus
and leech in my trinket

oh I will let you know
bolstered fortified mobs in freehold hurt
with a 390 shield
just shield block harder
even harder
until my mortal enemy appeared
trevor
chi burst
that fucking little shitty ball man
you just miss it by a little bit
that's how you get bolstered bosses
i heard trevor had a say in putting that jn the game
fuck trevor
that was the reason both my 22 and my 21 ToS flew in the garbage really quick
he also put in barrage, that frost dk azerite trait, and hand-crafted TD
tol dagor?
yep
I like td
all Trevor
Kaege you made an alliance toon? lol
didn't I tell you?
no one tells me shit!
I told most people that cared!
you might not have been reading the chat then when I did
Maybe not. I guess it doesn't matter too much anyway since I'm not EU
I was trying to convince a friend to come play horde with me but what she ended up doing instead is gift me a boost
Ooooh, WoW gf huh
so I boosted a warrior on her server
I mean, there are multiple people that wanna play with me but they are alliance
so I just too the opportunity
also gearing a new character is fun
I spent 2 months progressing my warrior and I have nothing else to get on him other than cosmetic rewards or just be insanely lucky
and gearing a new character is fun
the process from being a scrub that dies to everything to being a god that can tank literally just anything is fun
quick question for my offspec, 415 urchin or 430 sporepods for healing myself
What ilevel is your main Kaege?
like 450
Oh, lol
ty boss! I have a bunch of dps trinkets but only those 2 for healing and stuff lol
You're a stats trinket
ooh gotcha, yeah I have 440 butcher's 445 razor coral 430 inkpod and 430 socketed arcane tempest besides those 2 healing ones
use butcher's block
idk about razor coral I wouldn't use it for prot but some people would
then it's either inkpod for damage or urchin for surv
ok, ty a lot for the help β€
@warm plinth
Not even 70 neck π
Zandalari are so sweet. Love your fish.
do you know what's funny thoughj
my 410 warrior has as much haste as my 450 warrior
and I am gemming and enchanting haste
I believe it. My new horde war had like
1800 haste at 421? lol
He's lost a bit now but I think he's still at 1700 at 426
also
my 410 warrior has more crit than my 450 warrior
and the stats I am after are crit and haste
like
blizzard please
Yeah, I had like 1200 crit, 1800 haste, like 50 vers and 528 mastery or some shit. It was perfect.
But I'm sure when I get caught up to my other toons, it'll be way worse
Super noob question - I just tanked my first dungeon, my health pool jumped way up when i joined. It was on prot warrior through lfg and was a heroic dungeon, there was no priest in the group for pw:fortitude. Is this an LFG thing or just a dungeon thing?
Exactly, when doing pure LFR content (group/raid finder), you get a buff π
health has 0 meaning
the tanks with the most health rn are considered probably the more worse tanks
VDH, Beats
bears*
Warrior's are more about shieldblock uptime and CD usage. Focus on getting enough haste to keep shieldblock up to as close to 100% as you can - with the best shield as you can get your hands on. Warrior's effective health is really high, even if their healthpools are smaller than that of example bears. Take a look in the pins for a true guide breakdown of the spec.
Okay
I just did my first mythic, kings rest and it went pretty well
Died on 2 pulls but only trash pulls not bosses, blew my cooldowns and clenched my cheeks a couple times but it was good.
for warrior, you don't overlap cds basically
you just want as much uptime on shield block as possible
as your talents just give you more shield block uptime
basically
use demoralizing shout and avatar on cd also
merektha's fang pumps on zaqul
it lines up with adds being stacked for us
and sometimes I get a 600/700k proc with just one cast
Yea i think both my deaths were from taking a bunch of spell damage, i shouldve used spell reflection prob wouldve saved me
Had a tough time keeping adds of the DH without avatar but it worked out usually
And yea my shield is only 370 at the moment
Yeah 370 shield should be just fine for Mythic 0
I'm finally able to do BFA LFR tanking on my warrior now that my CPU isn't dogshit.
Back in Legion, I found Ignore Pain to be a tedious ability because even in Antorus LFR, my Ignore Pain was disappearing in one or two boss auto-attacks which made the T20+T21 bonus gameplay loop kinda godlike since it meant permanent IP uptime as long as you did your rotation well. It also had problems with shitty scaling after being nerfed into the ground at the start.
The artifact ability was also kinda weak because it was easily interrupted and was really just used to cover gaps in your Shield Block, right?
Regarding mechanics, rather than numeric viability, what is the general concensus on the state of Prot now?
I'm asking because in Legion, I was no-lifing the game a bit more and was more involved in the current state of the game. In BFA, alongside changes in my life, this is a lot less the case (even though I'm still being a lazy-ass IRL), so I'm asking out of curiosity since my thumb hasn't been on the game's pulse a whole lot.
Especially with regards to lore because I've been so checked-out and lost in the actual story due to content catch-up and skipping and shit while I lagged behind. I don't watch any Bellular videos about lore stuff anymore.
prot good
I like having peaks and valleys in resource generation, but I rather don't care for the wasteful feeling with Lucid Dreams.
Spamming IP to not waste rage, rather than to keep it from falling, feels less overbearing in terms of the skill required to not suddenly drop a lot of health, but feels more wasteful.
use VoP
Which one is VoP?
Mechagon dungeon
Procs Avatar
./reduces its cd
I'm still behind.
You are still going to "waste" rage in terms of overcapping IP. It's part of the spec.
I've accepted that.
It's just one weird nag.
I'm being picky, I know.
I do love my warrior, tho β€
Also, I actually kinda remember reading to use different essences
I just don't have the ones I need so I was using Lucid for now.
for m+ i have vop and sos rank 2. I have anima r3 and cns r1 everything else r2 atm what should i go for 2nd minor?
I kinda wish the tanking essences were more viable. Aegis of the Deep sounds neat to use based on the tooltip
CoF?
I've been using suppression pulse, honestly forgot I got rank 2 vision
Crucible of flame
Good at st
I assume as DPS?
Dmg is more important
What my cotank doesnt do
Me doing 22k
Him doing 10k
π€
I might take it up, then.
Cof and null
It'll probably be a while, if at all, that I do cutting edge content in BFA.

I'll probably just do LFRs and lower level M+s. I barely did any M+ in Legion so I'm not super good at it and I get nervous about trying to do one, even though it's quick and easy content.
So I'm good with more meter clout.
Amazing timing. A guildie in a guild I've been parked in for a few months is asking about Operation Mechagon.
Fuck it, I can stay up for a while longer. Who needs sleep when you have essences to unlock.
Mechagon is a fun dungeon, not too hard either
Apparently it takes a good while to do, tho
It can
I was hoping it'd be like 40m long, not 95m.
I did hm mech
If the group knows what they're doing, it shouldn't take more than an hour or so
Wasnt too bad
Itβs around 40 mins if your group pumps
And that's on hard mode
Guildie said the quickest he's ever done is 95m.
Good god
We do it relatively fast each week, around 30-45
I need to do it as well. Prob will just go fury for it though
You guys are prob are all 450 mythic geared tho
We're probably average high 430s/440
I'm sitting 413 in Fury, lol.
I've been lost on item level progression all xpac. Can anyone fill me in? I've learned that Dazar'alor LFR is 370.
What are dungeons and such doing now?
If your whole group is that ilevel, and they know the fights well (and actually DO the fights well), then it'll probably be 75 mins or so
Just do low keyd
I really need an item level chart of some kind.
What content is rewarding what range of item levels, minimum item levels for content, etc.
M+ is great loot
I knew them in Legion fairly well.
Horde gets Stromgarde heroic next week
8 hours left if you're alliance
That's a 430 piece
Conquest is on 430 rewards if you want to grind
Otherwise just do keys up to +4 or 5
I'll skip the warfront this time.
I'm not gonna do Mechagon and then Warfronts.
I need to stop going to bed at 3-4 AM
Benthic gear can be upgraded to 425
I mean, just do Mecha another time then. It's a weekly reset anyway
I dunno when my guildies will want to do it, tho
And I really don't want to pug it.
Fair enough
but pugging it and watching the group fall apart after 1 wipe is half the fun!
*all the fun
I got lucky last week and got a kill that was on king
Our last run was our r4 vision run π
Easy rank 2 essence
I'm working my way towards stuff like that. I've played for 3 weeks and haven't even touched the raid
Honestly the only "difficult" part of it is making sure you don't fuck up the sequence on the last boss @onyx vessel
is it normal for a disc priest to go full DPS build especially this week
and have lower HPS on pulls where the healing actually mattered than my own HPS?
wtf
@clever bronze All the info you need about where and how to get what ilvl gear
I need to do my heroic battlefront as well
Mechagon went well.
No boss wipes, although I died in most of them.
Didn't take too long.
The guy who tanked my run was giving me advice on Prot Warrior because it's his baby. He suggested I don't follow the cookie cutter and run with Impending Victory and Devastator and Heavy Repercussions.
And stack IF and BFI
He said when he raids, he finds he takes less damage and has better survivability sustain.
He's gone
lol
"finds" theory crafting
feelscraft
lol
BFI and IF are indeed good for surv
heavy repercussions is just
uh
Way worse
You get pretty good mitigation with that uptime on IP and Demo Shout running AM and Boom.
^
That's your best surv
lower CD on last stand and shield wall
with more avatars
and IP
It occurs to me that his feelcrafting is apparent considering he takes the training dummy in as a factor literally at all.
i mean his build could have some more survivability and progression i guess but once you get the basics down you really should be trying to maximize dps
And yeah, that build is harder to survive with against the dummy because you have almost zero healing.
But Impending Victory is a big part of that.
HR is good in concept but once you run it in a dungeon youll see it makes very little difference on your block uptime
in my experience
Devastator feels so damn good, tho.
So many more procs. I noticed my uptime did go up a fair bit.
And my blocks are a 50% DR.
I wish I didn't have to choose between Booming Voice and Devastator.
Shit, the least Devastator could do is add one or two more points of rage on your auto attacks.
Devastator + HR during Legion felt so good
It did, in Legion. And Devastator actually is better than Booming Voice, but only for single target DPS. Survivability and/or multiple targets puts Booming Voice ahead.
How fixed is Into the Fray vs Impending Victory?
Incredibly fixed.
Impending Victory is garbage. A 20% heal on a 30 second CD that resets anyway when you kill something.
every single boss
He said he takes Into The Fray for M+
Which makes sense
More frequent resets and you're more guaranteed those Fray stacks
@clever bronze It's more than 15%
In a raid you still get the stacks because allies grant stacks as well.
^
Even at 2 stacks
It's better
Our talents are not balanced at all
There are either the right ones
Or the bad ones
I'm actually feeling very determined to gear up to his level and tank in his place.
Or him and I tank bosses and healers try to rate which one is easier to heal.
Really put it to the test.
Because Training Dummies are not at all a fair test.
True.
If you look at somebody like late and somebody like mvpg tanking a boss
Late will require 3 times less healing
Pft ye right
Lul
I know
You took like 8 million damage from melees on orgozoa fam
How would you guys change the talents if you wanted to make them more situationally useful?
That's a longwinded question
Well on orgozoa I didn't push a single defensive until last phase
lmao
And opens a big discussion
org and zaqul are the only fights I'd do that
@sick sentinel It's just friendly banter don't take it too seriously
But seriously
Why does it seem inkpod does so little damage
but sims so much
on average mine does like 120-250k
where if I use a different trinket like cyclo
So now that I have VoP rank 1, what do you guys recommend for my first minor slot? (2nd isn't unlocked yet)
Cyclo does like 500k by end of the fight
how long is the fights you are in
inkpod needs to stack up decent amount
These are the options
https://i.imgur.com/DnmEvJs.png
Lucid dreams
It's not the best
I like how he even has rank 3
and I don't even have rank 3
Rank 3 gives the vers proc
Because Fury is my main DPS for open world and during Legion I ended up DPSing when I raided
@sick sentinel how long is the fights you are in for inkpod
One of the best parts about the essence
it has to stack decent amount to do damage
I got rank 4 lucid
Ez
Nice
Aegis is actually a lot of vers. Itβs pretty good for Mythic plus if you donβt pull like a bitch.
i tried it for luls in 3mins tyranical fights it did over 300k damage in general
@clever bronze It's good
Rank 3 aegis is good
So if you pull like Kaege, donβt use it
Null/cof/vop/aegis/sphere/vop all you need
Yeah it is
some people don't pvp tho
What
Cns
but in good weeks big pulls aegis is good
I said nothing
I don't PvP.
Ye some people don't do that
Best bet is just farm rank 3 VoP
Get rank 3 CoF and Null
xd
Itβs easy to get C&S. I donβt pvp either. Just did arena to get 1400 and now I just have to cap conquest for a few weeks
Yeah
Null is like 2k dps increase
i farmed bote man twice nothing can be that bad
All of the honor I have is from Legion WQs.
https://i.imgur.com/aMw3fXS.png
Worth
I barely gained any after BFA launched
dynamo is really good
Fills in for magic DR
And then they nerfed the requirement huh Melva
Did you cry a bit?
I did 50k
tbh i did it with friends after raids we just chilled and did bgs
it wasnt bad
but again i prefered to do m+ or actualy arenas over that
Wait a minute
I use sphere alot
Farm it
Rank 3 is the only one that does damage
yeah
Worth 100%
So I gotta get exalted? T_T
Yep
Yup
Just do world quest
im kinda happy i grinded stuff for 2 weeks so i can chill forever now with essences
The WQ on its own is 850 rep
π€
I'M TRIGGERED
vision major mosltly then lucid aegis dynamo or conflict minor if you have those you are fine
I'm 20 years old, okay! My family all played on PvP servers so I was 6 years old in vanilla getting constantly ganked and even into Legion on my alts still on Bleeding Hollow!
How do i die
I hate PvP!
War mode doesnβt necessarily mean PvP
I do too
<flashbacks to that WoW machinima about how people just pass each other in warmode because they have it on for the reward bonuses>
You donβt have to PvP to do the quest heβs talking about. You just canβt get the quest with it off
Just when ppl dont use warmode
Oh.
Fine. Recommended talents?
Thunderstruck if you want to anger people or sword and board probably
Thunderstruck triggers ppl
I run thunderstuck morale killer and dragon charge
Its funny
Yeah thatβs what I run as well
Because I know theyβre fucking raging when I have Avatar up
Quick question
Pog
my cyclo would of done like 500k by then
no not pog
is it an lfr inkpod or something
430
Was it good to use Warpath in Legion with the shoulder leggos?
Or was that a waste of time?
how does it sim 500 dps higher
when it only does 300k on crit
??
honor talents were way different
500k but you wouldve lost hits so prob is worse
first of all
you are not casting abillities or attacking
while casting cyclo
also you might have looked at a fight where it critted a lot
Oh shit, I just triggered myself. I never played Legion effectively enough to farm leggos so I was fucked the entirety of the xpac on leggos. It wasn't until like the end of ToS and Antorus that I got good Fury leggos
more than it usually does
that's not how legion legendaries worked
if you played the game at all
you had legendaries
I was stuck with Destiny Driver, the Shoulders, and Aggramar's stride.
Eventually I got the Prot ring
F
after your first 3 it became hard to get a 4rth
Exactly
after the 4rth it was literally impossible to get a 5th
like, to the point where people made a new character of the same class to try and get 4 different ones
I got walls fell and kakushan as my first two. Belt and bracers were my last two that I bought with essences lol
I believe the order I got the leggos (not counting the Fury ones I eventually got) were Destiny Driver, Aggramar's Stride, Timeless Stratagem, Archimonde, Walls Fell
Timeless Stratagem was so fun
Bracers were the first one I got. Never been that lucky before
Leapyboi
I eventually got Kiljaeden and Kazzalax before finally getting Valajar Berserkers and Ceann-Ar
Yeah same
Same.
I wish I could go back and do Legion again properly.
Actually fucking focus instead of fucking off half the time
But I didnβt need them anyway. Had to do relevant content to need them and I never did higher than 15/16s
And tell my family to fuck off because they were legit bad at the game
then second one was boots
Well, my brother was good. Better than I was, anyway.

Literally halfway through this expansion and already doing higher keys than I was doing at the end of Legion lol
I didn't M+ a lot.
Thatβs all I did, which actually makes it worse lol
It wasn't the best with family, and I keep feeling too nervous to learn this late into the game when it's like this mathematically mapped out GOGOGOGO speed run shit
Id do a 15 every week
Now it's even worse anxiety in BFA.
Hm
1 cast with subpar luck
212k
more than my regular inkpod
through 5 minutes
without crit
The manacles and Arms legs were got with essences while I was leveling in BFA.

Arms legs
There's a phrase.
I pretty much just ran Archimonde and the two mobility ones since Destiny Driver was useless.
Donβt be anxious. Learn the class, learn the dungeons thoroughly. Do lower shit or your own keys to start with. Once you know the routes and shit, do higher keys. Knowing your spec and the dungeons makes it a lot easier to be confident.
I'm never satisfied with my UI and ability to perform my rotations, but all in all I understand Fury and Prot pretty well.
well w/e
And frankly the key to dealing with toxic players is to straight up ignore them. Own up to your mistakes but donβt acknowledge toxicity.
I probably shouldn't over think it
It's that final 10% of skill gap that ends up making like another 100% bonus to your DPS that I'm missing.
@warm plinth See, I know this.
But I still don't wanna.
What even is anxiety.
Oh well.
My guildies seem chill and patient, so I'll be fine with them.
I died on nearly every mechagon boss and nobody beat me up (probably because I was doing it before they got to)
Press taunt boi
Also literally first Mechagon run
Well Iβm going to bed but feel free to DM me if you ever have questions.
I got three Trajectory Analysis cards and I think the universe is trying to tell me something.
Wait
Probably to go tank.
you have issues with your main tank lossing aggro mad?
The aforementioned tanking genius told me it's better for Arms because there's some free GCDs.
just get inkpod 5house
I agreed, but in the back of my mind I knew it was lowkey BS
Because you can run Skullsplitter to fill them in
And I don't often have free GCDs, tbh.
just don't listen to that guy at all
At least leveling.
He's a guildie.
unguildie him
Time to find a new guild.
I'm running with Lost Soulz over on Garona.
Do they have any reputations I should be aware of?
is coral and inkpod bis for fury
Or just another one of a million guilds?
I honestly always feel like a noob anase
This is my first few months of tanking
just takes practice
I've been doing it since WoD, technically.
My brother was healing me through dungeons, just us two
Speaking of which
I swear to god, shield barrier literally didn't work
Like I was so undergeared that it mitigated like 1k damage and that was it
I have no idea
shield barrier?
I just remember trying to use it and it literally not being useful at all
Yeah, in WoD.
oh
iirc it was shield block for magic.
So like I said I was 7 years old in vanilla.
My warrior is an old vanilla vet
I didn't start playing playing until WoD
probably 3
But I did fuck around in open world in almost every expansion
And that was at the end of WoD.
I think of it as me being at the age when other people started playing WoW
And finally like coming online, mentally, to enjoy the game.
Before that point I was always bored but still loved WoW.
Somehow I got addicted.
Anywho.
is coral and inkpod bis for fury
@sick sentinel yes
I have a very limited understanding of the game through each expansion, so my real start was with the end of WoD going into Legion.
And I was tanking from the beginning while my brother healed.
It's why my loot spec has been Prot since WoD.
Oh shit so I have bis for fury now?
Although I changed that when I started raiding in ToS with another guild, and was stuck with Fury.
I'm glad I did mechagon because I got a 415 wep and shield
do you have engi mvpg
From like 385 and 395
No
I use to until I scrapped it
to try for my kraken rng
but no prevail
do you have mythic behemoth shoulders
or cthraxxi
Nope, my raid never gave me loot
I had to bonus roll every piece
damn
how about first boss chest
Nope
or heroic zaqul
didn't give it to me
nope
I just used Dragon Charge for the first time
Because I have terrible RNG 5house
Kaege, haven't I been complaining about this for awhile
I have no chance at edicts or mythic urchins now
since guild is on last boss now
I mean
I figured
I can't even get heroic versions
It just doesn't drop
lmao
since you are complaining about not getting prot loot
you are maybe getting fury loot
nope
instead
:(
but you're just getting no loot
lmao
ye
get fucked idk
lol
hey there , now that I finally have a inkpod and coral , how do u properly use em on prot ? thanks
save coral stacks for inkpod
throughout the whole fight ?
Depends on the fight
but on st stuff yes
- pull, put coral on the boss
- wait until boss is at 32%
- use coral
- put coral on the boss after 20 seconds
- use coral with the avatar that you presume to be your last one
@elder isle if you are fighting something like radiance
you put coral on the boss on pull
and you extract with avatar on adds
yeah then stack till 32%
yeah
Is it known how much block rating is needed to get +1% block?
1% block?
Block chance, I mean.
I still don't have a hold on secondary stat values.
It wasn't until a little bit ago that I realized that my mastery rating is 545 at 23.55%, and my BoM with just one stack more than doubles my mastery
Which doubles its contribution to my block chance
(with diminishing returns, of course)
And I have two stacks of BoM.
And my block chance sitting right now is about 45%.
So I was trying to figure out how powerful BoM is to my chance to block.
I just realized my addon actually tells me the added percent to my stat values in this tooltip
https://i.imgur.com/QoF2qf0.png
So it's not double
It's 1.5x.
(roughly speaking)
For just one stack.
So it's probably not much.
Like maybe an additional 8% chance to block with two BoM.
Okay so
What was I supposed to do in Mechagon?
The NPC for Warmode was who?
Fucking..
I fucking hate PvP
Fuck that stupid ass net
