I've got a question about the Mechagon trinket for prot warriors
Icy veins ranks it very highly assuming it's of equal item level to competing options, but the Mechagon trinket is always lower than other options. How do you evaluate your own specific trinket?

'Feeling squishy' usually comes from a play style issue rather that itemization - i'd gladly look over any logs you have if you want.
For the trinkets - you have to look at the other options available to you and their ilvl/effects.
Haste proc trinkets are good in general like Rezans and Overclock but you still want them at a reasonable ilvl.

My Overclock is 1186 haste currently, not sure what that translate to as an ilvl
Yellow card is Versatility / Haste too
Other options are 430 Razor Coral, 420 Inkpod, 430 Vial of Animated Blood, 430 Jes' Howler (which I think is my best option?)
No logs currently but I can record some later tonight. This is for Mythic+ btw, I don't tank raids currently

Depends on what you’re using the trinket for. Cyclo with a high yellow card is really good for damage in raids. Overclock will probably be outclassed fairly easily though.

tbh tho, for this teir in EP, I think that I "could" get higher parses, if I chz'ed a little bit and just stayed on boss let other tank start off tanking, skipped a few mehanics, standed in fire for a few of them
like, My ashvane parse is low, because of lasers and all the time heroic leaping away during barnicle bashes to get the boss in the optimal spot for our dps to always pump
same with sivara, a lot of time geting the pools on the far sides
But still, I would like to make the comment that since coming to this Discord, Reviewing logs, and googleing tips and tricks. I have come a long way from last season to this season in terms of damage AND mitigation
so thanks everyone, and to new comers-- it takes a lot of work and research and practice. but in the end it is way worth the effort

But there is nothing stopping you from plugging in m+ logs... you just get suggestions as if it was a raid... iirc with time filtering in there you can filter to specific bosses and look at snap shots of the key
