So, going through logs last night. Average IP absorbed 65k (for ease I rounded down a little) at most it would absorb 130k. And I’d still take about 130K after wards - which kills me
If I’m at 130k hp that’s roughly 25% so it’s 75% increased effectiveness which means 113,740 which leaves me at an ideal (assuming it was perfect) 16,260 hp

Practice of when you can let SB drop and experience are really what tell you when you can and when you can’t

Hey guys need some advice from ya, if I find myself taking a lot of magic damage due to how we are doing M Ashvane what would you suggest ? I am currently running CoF Main, VoP Minor, I am considering running the Null Barrier and reforging for defensive traits, however my defensive traits are only traits such as Ablative Shielding which will not do much for magic damage, or well anything.
I could reforge my head my call traits to Unstable Flames but again that does nothing but adds parry from the crit proc which still is not very useful either, also the raid lead has us running into cutting coral to maximize space and that is kind of forced also due to spacing near the end of the fight. We are doing the burn strat and trying to 2 shield her so space becomes tough near the end if not maximizing with stacking barnacle bashes tight.
Of course crit is dps gain but that is not what I am concerned with at the moment, and by running into cutting coral I mean were stacking each barnacle bash on cutting coral to maximize space

If i got it correctly then you are the "soak tank"?
Warrior is one of the worst soak tanks so depending on your co-tank chances are you want them to be the soak tank instead while you focus on tanking the boss.
If you for some reason HAVE to be the soak tank then from minors definetly go for Null Barrier...probably also worth taking Undying as a major for the extra DR and then just rotating defensives like SR/SW and externals and hope for the best.
