on radiance you pop the crit when the addphase starts
on ashvane, depending on your raids cd plan
you either do what kaege does
or you pop in on the exposed phases
on stuff like shivarra or behemoth, it depends entirely on killtimes
you want max uptime of the crit, so you need to adjust depending on your guilds dps
if you have an inkpod you almost certainly want the crit on the backend to guarantee the inkpod crit
