so as far as classic goes, I want to tank (since I have been my entire wow career). When I played in vanilla I was like 11-12 years old and I never really tanked or played at a high level. I want to continue to play a warrior to tank effectively and be a must have for end game content BUT I have heard that warriors have a very rough time leveling. I was considering rolling a Paladin / Druid so I can tank 5 mans - 10man effectively and that they can also heal quite well and have hybrid specs so you can heal and tank without even changing talents. SO basically I am asking are warriors that much slower at leveling than a druid / paladin or can they pick up speed by certain leveling methods or something?

IP doesn't conflict with SB and vice versa, at best SB reduces the overall amount of damage IP needs to absorb to deplete but it doesn't do one or the other

Scenario: If you have 50% DR from block, and a 50k IP up and you take a hit for 100k, the shield block reduces the 100k to 50k and then IP would absorb 25k of that, leaving you with 25k damage taken and 25k left on your IP.

To be fair Skyrix I wouldn't bother with that. Having your two tanks on the same side allows them to soak the crushing reverberation just with the two of them. It's worth more than having a predictable Barrage that everyone must dodge anyway.

Devastator is better for ST dps, it has undeniably lower rage generation and therefore BV is the best defensive option
If you're at a point where you already get orange dps logs and have zero trouble surviving - start playing around with devastator
otherwise just stick to BV

Devastator generates similar rage levels with BV or Vengeance at best. However, in more situations realistically, it'll underperform. Most of time you'll probably reset shield slam with another ability and not really from devastator or it'll reset shield slam when it has like 1 or 2s left on the CD. So the reset didn't do anything for you.
So you don't really look at devastator as a defensive pick and more so an offensive one.

Devastator will also shine more defensively on fights where there is reason to delay your demo shout, taunt swaps, large hits, downtime, ect. Generally anything purely single target I take it. The actual differences between the two are negligible at best until you start adding additional targets.
