Well behind the other tanks and low damage taken aren’t good metrics. I would look at some 437+ people in higher guilds with similar boss time and check damage taken. You might just be a better player than the other tanks in your guild. Also unless they are prot warriors it’s hard to compare damage taken for your specific specs

He likely needs the dps. Assuming he’s good at his offspec in a mythic guild, he’ll be fine. He’ll take more damage than the MT due to the shield but it should be fine

the effects I have are: chance to deal physical damage to nearby enemies, chance to summon a pufferfish that deals damage to targets within 8 yards or when taking damage have a chance to deal damage to the attacker + slow them for 5 sec

while motherlode does have more magic damage than most, shield ilevel is incredibly important. There could also be a bunch of different factors at play that could be causing issues.

@celest briar there’s never been a threat modifier based on distance that I’m aware of. The only difference is the percent you have to pass #1 by based on distance from the target. And those are still in effect. It’s 10% for melee and 30% for ranged.

Storm Bolt is usually the "go-to" since a lot of people play with Outlaw Rogues and monks who got stuns for days regardless and the ST Storm Bolt can be used to interrupt important stuff without DR'ing the pack of mobs with Shockwave even further.
I'm a lazy person and just run with Rumbling all the time tho. 😂

Never use the shout talent, only stormbolt. Shout as a pseudo stun/interrupt when everything is stun DR’d and nobody has interrupts is good play. It does reset all the swing timers on the mobs and you can get one shot straight after if you have no AM up

It depends on a lot of things.
What content are you doing, how comfortable are you with the class, what's your goal, what helps the team most etc.
If you're new to the class you are better off using more defensive trinkets indeed.
As you get more comfortable with the class you can start using more offensive oriented ones like Grongs/Blast etc.
There really isn't a "BiS" list since Titanforging is a thing.

Trinkets to keep in mind should include:
Prism,Rezan,Gore,Blast,Dribbling inkpod,Ashvanes Coral etc.
@rare umbra it's hard to tell without logs.
IP is as just a tiny "buffer" ontop of Shield Block. Remember that SB is your PRIMARY mitigation vs physical damage.
IP should be used as a rage dump or vs pure magic damage fights.
Healing in meters also gets pumped up by trinkets like Diamonds/Idol and traits like Visage/Veins/Vampiric.

The new def absorb trinket from eternal palace (Edict of the Myrmidon) is very good though i would say better than diamond as you can switch to absorb physical/magic damage according fight you are going to.

Healing isn't something you should worry too much on as a warrior tho since we are a PROactive tank rather than a reactive like a BDK.
Meaning that we have to know what type of damage is gonna come in and use spells accordingly..e.g Melees = Shield Block,SW,LS(with bolster),DS,IP
Magic damage = SR,SW,DS,IP etc

@sick sentinel Void emissaries just zerg them down on a 10 if your DPS is good, don't worry about eating the first explosion, use a CD for the 2nd, if there's a third, hide. BE CAREFUL with them because they do interact with Sanguine.
Reflect emissary, just get your ranged/healer to knock them back (you can spot these because they make a big white bubble around the mobs) be careful with this because if you knock back into other mobs it will pull them
non-CC emissary: Just nuke the pack imo, on a 10, if it's with a pack which has really required interrupts (e.g the attendants in SOTS), root the emissary and then pull mobs back a fair distance, you can re-root as much as you'd like just it only lasts 8 seconds.

But in general it's one of the "hardest" dungeons since the damage type is a mix of everything (bleeds-casters-dot's-melees) and tiny corridors make affixes like Sanguine a pain.
The bosses are also pretty hard ...first one with the add placement+healer check..second one with the flame placement+healer check..3rd one with the blade debuff and hoping that people kill the correct totem..and the last one if you get cucked by Fear/Blade combo without Berserker rage available you just fall over. 😄
Comes down to experience and the group tho.

Alx any time you get hit you can lose durability - I don’t know for sure but, yes, it feels like when you block attacks the durability loss goes to your shield if it happens
