You’ll get the best log by mastering the class and stacking reckless flurry on a devastate build, the benthic combined makes up like 6% damage but once you factor in the lost strength from 445 items it’s not that big of a dps increase

It was good (I didn't like it, still but that was personal opinion) because DC damage was also increased by the 100% damage increase, now it's 30% and it's less good compared to others

So, not so much a prot warrior question, but I can't seem to 'unlock' lucid rank 3 from the quartermaster due to not having the 'nautical battlefield training' achievement.
Thing is, I do have that achievement, on another char, so can't track how far into the 6k follower xp I am with warrior.
However, combined rank of my followers is 21,which means it's more than 6000xp accross them.
Is this a bug, has someone else encountered this?

There are more things to consider than just looking at that pic. Who tanked more? What was the damage blend - magic / unblockable versus blockable? Are the both equally skilled?

The bottom line is that your friend is wrong. The best theorycrafters for prot warrior recommend going for Ilvl over specific stats. If he wants to play suboptimally that’s fine - it’s his choice. However he is playing sub optimally. He isn’t considering the fact that strength and stamina are important. The health pool difference does matter with magic damage.

We saved cooldowns for that pack. I popped everything and used anima to hold Aggro as three dps used their focusing iris or whatever their eyebeam is
