Don’t waste any pearls past 415 ilvl u till you get your first few pieces. It takes like 35 pearls to 385-415 and then 150 more to go to 425 so make sure your piece has a socket before going that far.
And you might get better upgrades in Heroic this week or even normal so it would suck to burn 200 odd pearls to use an item for 10 minutes lol

Hey guys, a question about dodge, we are having a conversation in our discord about dodge, there is this new card in mechagon that gives a dodge that stacks, but is it not true that dodge has dr, so lets say during the lenght of a fight that dodge % will result in less and less dodges for say a warrior, and it does not work as a flat ammount of dodge that is static.

My guild did two 6/8 HC runs yesterday evening, planning on doing the last 2 in both our runs in the next raid. I'm off tanking Za'qul on my Warrior in one of the runs. How bad is the magic damage? Going from the damage in the other bosses I'm assuming its pretty fine but my Warrior is a fair bit behind my main (my DK) at only neck 50 and ilevel 417, so wondering if I should be prepping by butthole or if its actually fine?

Evening guys! I'm a returning prot main (quit halfway legion, got back about 6 weeks ago) and a lot seem to have changed. I recently got into mythic+ and I'm getting the feedback of some healers that I take tons of dmg. My question is if there are like macro's or such to keep up the ignore pain etc, to mitigate my dmg taken. Or are there any other tips you guys can give me to make the life of the healers a bit easier?

your mitigation/smoothing tools (SB/IP respectively) are definitely things you really want the most control over imho
better you are at those is what will do the most in terms of making your healers life easier

@slate sparrow I’m always a little worried when people mention Ignore Pain and not Shield Block. Shield Block uptime while tanking is massively more important than Ignore Pain uptime unless you’re taking zero blockable damage, which only happens on two boss fights in Mythic+.
