So I keep hearing everyone is expecting Warrior tanks to fall very hard as far as how they are looking to be ranked for 8.2 raids. Now granted I was also told that these rankings were based off of 8.1 gear at 415 item level. Has anyone heard this ?

Apparently according to what I have been hearing some of the top guilds which obviously does not apply to well the majority of people simmed tanks with essences and 415 gear and "supposedly" it showed Warriors equal to DH's, and Guardian, DK, and Monk being among the top 3, with Warriors and DH's tied and Pallies at the bottom. Now this also does not take 8.2 gear into affect but that is what I have been hearing

Correct me if I'm wrong here since I'm not a mythic raider, but pretty sure guilds choose the tank that fits the fights best, or the tank that can survive best while not quite geared for the content. Not the tank that does the most DPS. So even if it were true that we were rock bottom for tank damage (which it's not), no one would be making their choices based on that.

@bronze wigeon imo I think both zones feel undercooked. Mecha much less, I enjoy it a lot more and find it fun to just go to and do stuff in. That being said I think it would have been far better if they just did one zone and it combined the philosophy of Mecha with Najatar

I noticed both IV and Wowhead guides go on telling that Vision as Major + Memory as minor + X (either Vein or something else) is the best pick. While I agree with Memory, and the 3rd slot is pretty much up to us (although Conflict and Strife / Null Dynamo look like the best bets to me) I can't help feeling like Undying Gift is insane by how versatile it is. Probably depends on the encounter / stuff you're doing but I believe the extra uptime on Avatar isn't virtually always OP

I currently play with Memory of Lucid dreams as it's an easy one to get + it's really good, although on the long term I definitely want to swap to Vision or Undying Gift
I meant on first and 3rd use of Crucible (you get a +100% dmg / healing on each use) so you can buff your first and 3rd uses of it using Avatar + demo

Vein can probably be good in a group if 3 / 4 people play with it I guess
What I used to do was just doing normal rotation but using really early Crucible during demo and avatar, you would get 2nd during Avatar's downtime but still with demo, and 3rd would come back around the end of your 2nd avatar
(you can buff all of the crucible with demo pretty much, and roughly one out of two with avatar)

@sand relic Depends on the situation but I'd say use it mostly on enemy. First hit is weak whatsoever unless it crits, and the heal isn't really valuable enough unless you're casting it for the 3rd time and it crits (can be 60k + in that case, so big damage / healing)

It's not a bad trinket. It seems kinda like a better/worse darkmoon deck to me. Apparently it procs a lot so you'll have some armor at most/all times. And it has strength instead of stam like DMD did which is a plus. That being said, it's still a defensive trinket so can't say how much it'll actually be used.
