You get a benthic gear token when you purchase it. Think relinquished gear. You bought the token, then you used it and it gave you the piece of gear
The token itself is BoA. But once you use it, the gear it creates is not BoA.

And you can't upgrade the tokens until you make them into gear. So if you want to gear an alt, you can give them 385 gear very easily, but you'll still have to do Nazjatar shit on the alt to actually upgrade it.

I went dps m+11 with a dh 415 tank friend of a friend last week. I tanked +13 on a prot that’s undergeared... and managed to pull threat off her on reaping. So I said “please taunt” and I just get a big talkback and some string of insults blaming the game 🤷🏻♂️

I want to play the best tank suited for m+ because my joy of the game is competing to be the best. (Though I’m not method I want to try, this was my first m+ season) I want to make sure if it’s warrior I continue playing it and learning everything I can. I have done extensive research into dungeons, patch notes and possibilities. I may not be perfect at prot warrior but I understand why, and I am attempting to play the best possible. If you want to be the best you can succeed with any tank.
Some tanks are easier to pick up. Others provide more utility.
Prot looks good because damage and utility, and the way they deal with damage taken.
Essences are a wildcard still.

I haven’t played war since cata and have mained blood or guardian off and on since then and idk if I just got used to their rotation, and am still adjusting to warrior, but I could easily focus on mobs with Druid or dk. @odd violet like no none offical. however the keys went from doing +8 percent incresaed damage to +10percent per level. so a 10 wont really feel any different but a 15 will be a 17. 17 a 19 etc
