Did a shrine 12 last night to just get a cache, pugged it. First reaping me and the rest of the squad (minus healer) jump down to where you meet your first elemental to LoS the caster dudes. Healer, logically, gets insta-gibbed in the first salvo. I ask him to LoS, he retorts with "Can't when you don't have aggro". I begin to explain how they randomly target people....and random mage in the group just goes "Funny thing about RNG, when you're the only available target, you'll get hit 100% of the time!" and IMMEDIATELY after this Hunter also goes "THANKS MADDEN". Like your thunderclaps used to do 200% of base damage, they now do 130% of base damage. So if your base damage was 10k, your avatar damage would have been 20k before and would be doing 13k now

my highest tclap pre nerf were in the 36k rank, they are now, over the course of a full day of doing everythig this new patch has to offer outside of gated content, 26.6 which is a ~35% redux, if you are paying attention and accounting for buffs that's what it is, any math made up that says otherwise is just crackpot theorycrafting
