Most of our mitigation is just by proper play; gear comes in with shield ilevel probably but beyond that it's just pressing the right buttons at the right time.

I think a mistake a lot of people make in M+ is moving too much to be honest. Get the mobs gathered up, make sure mobs are faced away from the group, then plant yourself there until you need to move. DPS should be moving around mechanics; you shouldn't have to do that for them. Don't assume that you need to be sperging out because there's a lot going on.

Basically people take advantage of the insane scaling of 110 toons in BfA content. It enables them to very easily mass pull in BfA dungeons and kill mobs quickly. They have people pay them to basically solo a portion of the dungeon's trash repeatedly and it gives a ton of XP
So someone twinks a 110 toon, turns off XP gain, and then runs the dungeon with someone trying to level to 120

I don't know if I'll get into classic but I did play during vanilla wow and I really wish that they would roll back some of these crazy systems like scaling and phasing etc that they introduced into the game. It just makes the game feel less like a virtual world and more a game with interactive lobbies going into disjointed instances of the game.
