As always with trinkets - it depends on what else you have.
In general it's fine in AoE due to the CD of it lines up with Avatars etc so it makes your AoE even stronger but there are definetly better options out there.
DPS wise you can sim the trinkets and see what comes up top for you specifically.

guys there is something i was wondering, not sure this is the right place but.. is the racial passive "human spirit" even remotely impactful? I mean, some races give you like 1% stat, lets take gnome it's like 375 haste. On my gnome character (don't judge me) that extra 2% would give me 16 crit, 12 haste, 17 versa and around 21 mastery. That's an increase of 66 across all stats. Am I missing something or is it just that useless?

Largely depends how much damage you're taking. If you're 415 and doing a +7, you can probably face tank forever until you have to move for Sanguine. Typically 30 stacks or whenever it's convenient to drop stacks is a good number.
e.g. if you get a good string of parries and get down to 4 seconds on the DoT, you can reset if you have a meaningful number since you would basically just have to leap away and kite for a second to drop at that point.
