I had a warrior (I had 2.53M in a Conclave fight durataion he had 253K) tell me he didn't use IP "that much" on that fight... Um ... aren't we always to aim for IP to be up since it ignores 50% incoming damage and takes the other as absorb? I felt like he was stupid by just LOOKING at the difference in IP ...but it didn't seem like he was getting trucked either ... But I use it when I have SB up and don't want revenge because it helps reduce my CDS because of AM .. is there something missing on my end or was he just ... ||SLOW||?

On a fight like Conclave where most of the damage is Physical outside of some bleeds SB mitigates most damage.
You can dump your rage with either IP or Revenge in this scenario, doesn't make too much of a issue just because how effective SB is against blockable damage.
For example if you tank Paku SB is pretty much all you need because all of his attacks are blockable.
If you want to play it even safer you can dump rage with IP and get that tiny bolster of a shield ontop of SB but in general in this specific scenario you can safely also dump with Revenge.
Main goal is to keep SB up and never cap rage.
Remember that AM works by USING rage on different abilities.
It doesn't matter if you use it on IP or Revenge (unless it's a Revenge! proc which makes it free) you will still benefit from AM

No need to kite too much in most situations.
If you see that you're falling and the healer is struggling to top you then you obviously have to stun->Heroic leap/kite away and wait for the stacks to drop. Most people usually do it at like 20-30 stacks.

Everything I've seen/read says booming is the better choice for both rage and dps but looking through top performers on WCL I've noticed devastator is being used for some of the higher dmg numbers. To my understanding this was the worst for both damage and healing in the row. Did something change?
