Rezan is replaceable if you have a trinket that is significantly higher ilevel than it. That being said, Idol is a defensive trinket primarily and should be used as such. If you don't need/want a defensive trinket, there's no reason to use it.

If you're currently using a 400 in that slot, the 415 will be better regardless of traits. The only time it would be a questionable call (going from 400 to 415) is if you were replacing your only DC trait with a piece that didn't have DC.

What I actually recommend is trying to have the other tank get thrown and just safeguard him before the throw. Spreads the damage and I find it very effective at keeping both tanks healthy

Not a great selection tbh. And you don't use Knot for parry; you use it because crit is a very good AoE DPS stat. If you don't need diamond, you're probably stuck using Knot+RAGE which is not ideal (2 on-use trinkets with badly aligning cooldowns)
