Alright @cursive marsh, after wasting a considerable amount of time... I've made a macro that you will like (regarding heroic leap). This macro you will just have to press twice, the first time it will just cast heroic leap so u can see the circle and the second time it will cast the cursor macro. U must be targeting something the first time you use and the second time you mustn target anything. Its a bit sketchy but it works, hope you can find some use for it.

@robust furnace basically the reason prot works so well talent wise is because of the interaction of the CDs of the spec with Anger Management. You get a lot of CD reduction throughout a fight and a proper rotation plays into that. The more you avatar the more rage you get so the more rage you can spend which means the more damage you can do and the more damage you can mitigate which then means you get avatar back faster etc.

Think of prot warrior like a steam engine
