@jagged bay Idk how they figure it in the budget exactly, but the mathematical reason is that Blizzard seems to round funny.
The way weapon DPS is figured is you take the minimum damage on the weapon and the maximum damage on the weapon, divide each by swing speed. Then add the two together and divide by 2. On the sword, the max damage calculation is for some reason rounded up from 233.46 to 234 instead of rounded down to 233. That gives it the extra .2 DPS

So like my last post I am new to tanking. My main focus is in m+ I have looked at the stat priority given in icey veins but I was wondering if there was a way to work out my stat priority based on my current gear.

You are almost always actively tanking in m+ meaning that haste to reduce SB uptime(among other things) plays even a bigger role.
Realistically there's not a "break point" you can reach with haste.

At what point in waycrest do you take tree boss over fire? Was in doing a 14 last night(no gore block trink again) and groot got to 60 stacks. Someone in the group said I was doing fine throughout the fight, and I knew that; but it got me thinking

It depends on what you have up(SB/LS/SW/Externals) and how long the boss remains alive.
On a 20 TYRANNICAL i usually try to reset 2 times at 20 stacks and the 3rd time i tank it until it dies for example.

I normally on 14-16 I go 30+ even on tyrannical and tends to die before getting 30 again.
I reset at 20-30 when with a Pala heal because they love to play โlet the tank dieโ but that is my neuroticism

belt is only around 40 stat trade for the passive, should be a good trade. pants and gloves are closer to 100 stat for the trade. pants are only 4ppm but may pull ahead overall. gloves would depend on how much you value the ~2k hps
