The defensive value of the traits is minimal enough that it doesn't really affect my pull sizes.
You survive via good play regardless of your trait choices.
Only time i can warrant going more defensive traits would be ML Tyrannical on two last bosses on HIGH keys.
Even then you can just make your healer spam-heal you and be fine with bom/dc.

Danie, if you're running M+, getting 3xBoM is incredibly important. Not just for that crit block (which is great), but because Mastery also grants you AP. So you hit things harder, too. It's a one-two punch to keep you alive and make them dead. It's bonkers
