HMC is pretty good. Earthlink doesn't lose value with additional stacks so it's really up to you. I'm not sure which one sims better. Earthlink would provide minor defensive benefit as well via increasing IP size, whereas HMC is pure DPS

When it’s bout to fall off, normally to bridge between a prayer and wave when the boss will proceed to not hit you for a long time. Last I was there it naturally fell off but maybe I was supernaturally lucky with prayer and waves.

Just wanted to share what I found while progressing on jaina P3.
To make it easier to die in p3, we created a macro to drop all of our buffs - /cancelaura [buff_name] and listed everythign we could think about here
the issue is, once you use that macro to drop the buffs, you wont get ANY of the trait buffs until You relog
on the picture above you have my 3 buffs on a time line - top is Bastion of Might, middle is Avatar and bottom is resounding protection
You can clearly see, that despite having further pulls, I didnt receive any trait buffs anymore
I checked for my co-tank and his Gemhide was behaving exactly the same, so did Ablative Shield
so it looks like trait aura is 'active' all the time, just the numbers from it are geting activated once some of the requirements are met
You can do a simple check by creating a macro with /cancelaura Bastion of Might
using avatar, pushing macro
and reusing avatar after cd
BoM wont pop
once you relog, it will be fine again
would be glad if anyone else could check that
we both use ElvUI, so maybe that`s why? dunno really

Hey Guys! i got a Question.
I am still trying to improve the rotation of my active mitigation spells which of course includes not to use shield block while last stand is still running. While this is pretty normal stuff my muscle memory tends to completly ignore this rotation when i find myself in hectic situations (higher m+ keys fighting a lot of trash against a lot of incoming dmg) which results in unnecessary shield blocks being used. I am using Maroks Blocktracker und placed it DIRECTLY next to shieldblock to visualize my brain as hard as i can to not use my shield block button but as i said... when things get heavy and i start to focus other shit my fingers just move on their own..
So my question is: Do you guys have the same problem sometimes? How are you handling those situations? Besides improving my focus / visualisation of spells / CDs / WAs presented... Is there somekind of macro / addon that can FORCE shieldblock from being used while last stand is active?

No, not really. I also have both SB/LS shown on my screen when they are up.
Sounds to me like you just gotta get more comfortable in hectic situations so you don't panic press SB automatically which comes with more & more experience.

But you can't reach those numbers.

Sorry to backtrack. As a tank you will get people who ask if you have a route. Well after you’ve done dungeon so many times and you fail/succeed. You get to know which parts have higher risk of fuck up. Stay firm to your route, or if you actually like another route. Critically assess if you can/comfortable with it. If not just go ham with your route
