Usually we pull a pack into reaping.

depends on what you're pulling next and the dungeon. if the next set of trash isn't that threatening to you or the party, you can pull reaping into it. if you know reaping has a lot of lost souls in it, you can kill off risen and then chain the lost souls into the next pull. etc
For the most part, its generally safe to chain pull with lost souls. They hardly hit you for anything and all you do is dodge smash.

Fairly straight forward..mount->run ahead as tank to grab aggro of everything..once you get to boss platform everyone goes left except for healer who goes right..healer Shadowmelds/Soulstones or w/e.

the 1 deathskip strategy is more straightforward since its just speeding throug from boss to boss killing trash to get to around 99%
the 2nd one needs more setup etc and more trash clearing in the beginning

I dunno if its just me, but I dislike it when the healer complains that I have 20 stacks.
I tanked packs to like 50 and lived, just because I want to do more damage and have CDs rolling.
But it's mostly depends on how comfortable and your knowledge of damage patterns that determine whether you kite early or you can stay in with necrotic.

My typical healers have an understanding with me. Keep me up as much as possible, then dps. Literally when I hit like 40+, my healer would just go back to dps'ing and leaving me with the choice to either kite or die.

While magic damage is a weak point for most tanks right now Bloodsport is not a make or break trait defensively. It has it's nieche uses and i can maybe see it being paired with Never Surrender on the 2 last bosses on ML on VERY (22+) high tyrannical keys but other than that most damage is either avoidable or survivable with optimal play/CD usage.
