I agree @neon tangle but definitely need to take into the factors that necrotic is only during 2 weeks of rotation, by no question DID is the best thing available for those 2 weeks of weekly rotation, and from what i've seen through logs LFD racial can be a big chunk of overall damaged if utilized properly

I most likely will change to dark iron for just being better overall especially for necrotic and other debuffs, but LFD can definitely be strong for dps as well, was just looking to see what you guys think since blizzard is doing the sale right now so wouldn't be a bad time to change races

@rugged shale what do you mean you have doubts? Unless you’re going for pure damage don’t stack DC. Bloodsport is a good defensive trait, the only way you can say that it’s better than offensive traits is if you need defense however there are better traits for defensive value. Also if you have doubts you can always just see what the top warriors are running most of which are trying to run the recommended in #268491842637660160

@hidden ether most of the heavy damage you take on Jaina is physical (Ice shard). The magic damage is mostly avoidable , you can use SR if you have high stacks of Chilling Touch for example to reduce the damage taken.

Most damage is physical in m+ so having high uptime on SB is very neccessary and on high enough keys you'd get smacked even through that "Bumped up IP" that Never surrender gives when you're low.

I feel like in BFA trinkets have been not such a big deal for tanks, because dps trinkets are absolutely a fine choice in most content. So easy AZ gear might be worth it. When I started looking at gearing up a few weekd ago I went through all the TR gambling choices and decided that head slots were the most finkie of the slots to gamble with. I just feel like shoulders and chest are more forgiving so maybe the ENG helm is worth it IDK. I don't play with ENNG but have considered because aparently they can BR now.

You can either use Dungeonslice which TRIES to replicate a m+ environment or if you just wanna sim AoE short fights you can do Patchwerk and put 10 enemies for example over a course of ~1m.
M+ has a lot of different variables so it's hard to create a exact platform for it.

@sick sentinel Basically for every blockable hit you receive, there's a roll based on block chance. If the roll passes, you block; if it fails, you don't. If the block roll succeeds (meaning you block the attack), there is another roll that determines if that block is critical (blocking twice as much damage). If the block roll fails, then it never does the crit block roll. Shield Block will not cause your critical block chance to increase; crit block chance is purely defined by our mastery.

If you block more, you have the potential for more crit blocks, since you can't crit block if you don't block. But if you have 20% chance to crit block, that's each blocked hit has a 20% chance to be crit blocked. So theoretically you could block 20 hits and get 20 crit blocks, but you could also block 100 hits and not crit block any (though that'd be unlikely with a 1 in 5 chance)

I am having a hard time choosing what trinkets to run in both raids and m+. I got: 390 rezan, 385 block, 400 ramping, 385 everchill.

Jeap, you gotta play pretty defensive there yourself since your healer has to focus on all the other people who get the debuff and in comparison the tank damage is pretty small.

My healer threw 9 rejus and 2 regrowths on me over the course of a 3 minute fight on the first boss for example.

The healer pretty much has to tunnel heal the person who gets the debuff without anyone else taking any unnecessary damage at that time.

Haven't checked from there myself so not sure.
But if you're logging you can do : Enemies->pick the enemy that you reflected->Damage Taken-> and search for the spell you reflected

I got blood sport spec'd on it. I think they would be better if shoulders didn't all have the demo shout trait on them. I'm gona play with world shrinker and cauterizer and see how those do I think. I also kinda think the 5% DR on the spark doesn't seem bad if its uptime is ok

I've got a 400 diamond, and a 405 Anchor with a socket. I really like diamond , especially in M+, but how can I not use 405 anchor with a socket.. it is o good.

Do you want more DPS? Use Anchor. Do you want more survival? Use Diamond.

I understand that. But you can always use more suitability.. I guess if you do a +5 , then u don't need it, but i'm personally aiming much higher - 12/13/14 keys. And defensive is always nice there, it's not like we are un-killable.

Sots is pretty forgiving on timer now ..we messed up our 19 key because of the 3rd boss..forgot that the orbs don't scale with Tyrannical so we diddn't DPS the MC'd person fast enough. 😦

I'm not sure if it's bugged for everyone @weary nacelle but we tried it 3 times and every time someone got a WoW error as soon as we pulled the boss - might also be a addon messing up. 🤷
