So ilevel should still be the goal for weapons. Weapon DPS is a huge part of the formula for our damaging abilities. You could argue that no secondaries makes it worse defensively, but the defensive gain really isn't worth losing the amount of damage you'd lose by using a 10 ilevel lower weapon.

Honestly you're probably just thinking too hard about it. I'm pretty sure casting Avatar will reduce the current CD of TC even if it's on CD at the time. So the longest you're going to have to wait to cast it after activating Avatar is a single global, which shouldn't really be a big deal. You can use Demo Shout before TC if it happens that way.

Eggroller a 'block' does not stop damage, it's damage reduction. Parry deflects the attack entirely.

What's more, parry basically acts as if the attack didn't happen, much like dodge. Any effects that the ability would have caused do not happen either.
Like with necrotic; if you parry or dodge the hit, no necrotic is applied on that hit.

@mild flicker as a tank you still have a lot of responsibilities when it comes to dungeons and people expect you to know what/where/how to pull.
You are reliant on your team for interrupts in certain dungeons more so than others(WM/SOTS)..so if they are slacking you're going to have a bad time.
In general tanking dungeons starts off rough but gets easier & easier the more experience you get.
