On I guess the social side of tanking, I've been running into sort of a respect gap with the group I generally play with. I came back to the game fairly recently after a long break (quit just before firelands released in cata) and so I'm somewhat looked down on as the sort of noob in the group - though aside from intimately knowing certain dungeon mechanics I'm generally at a comparable knowledge level and level of play. Because of that they don't often let me tank the higher end stuff because they want me to get more practice, but I don't push myself. I would rather not learn in pugs because of the to toxicity you can be encounter
