But Mastery is also not completely reliable/consistent, so you have to take that into account as well. @lilac shard this was my first expansion doing mythic plus. I've done a total of 500ish mythic+ dungeons across 3 characters. I would say my first 100 dungeons were "bad". You learn a tremendous amount just by repeating the dungeons now.

Basically, step 1 is play the content a bunch. Step 2 is always be critical of yourself in a productive way. Dont ever dismiss a key as someone else's fault. Always ask what you could have done to make it better

Remember that even if you aren't the BIGGEST problem in a key you still can learn from it

Good players learn from successful runs or runs someone else messes up too

Just to echo this: you’ll always have something you can work on in a run. If it’s pull speed, rotations, cooldown management, missing interrupts, positioning, etc., there’s always something.

Unfortunately, tanks are kinda in the spotlight since we control the pulls, routes, mobs. That means that it’s also way more visible when we mess up....that doesn’t mean that Jimmy DH isn’t missing 80% of his interrupts...

Key to a strong tank is to be able to mitigate the rage in and outside the game 😃
