couple of dumb questions: when pulling with zero rage, do you pop last stand before pull? or with bastion of might, the IP from avatar is enough?
how good is the bloodsport azerite trait? is something like 2x bastion of might better than 1x bastion of might, 1x bloodsport?

@fresh valley BoM IP does help you a bit on pull. Bloodsport is a vierd trait as it's is our best defensive option against magic and bleed damage (aside from rerolling race to dwarf). However there is no offensive power in the trait, neither is it particularly strong against blockable damage where BFI/IF is king.... generally you are happy to see the trait... I would personally rate 2xBoM == BoM+BS, but it really depends on the dungeon and how much you need the dps bonus from the mastery a second BoM gives vs. the survival of IP...

Persistent or "Aura" based Absorbs (Diamond Trinket, Resounding Protection) follow this flow: Mitigation > Aura Absorb > IP > HP. So the absorb takes 100% of there damage before IP takes any.
"On-Use" Absorbs (so far confirmed with Bandages trinket) behave differently:
Mitigation > (On-Use + IP) > HP. So the damage is split between the two shields. IP taking 50% and the On-Use shield type acting as a surrogate health pool.
in sum, on-use absorbs gain more value over their lifetime as long as IP is active
Unfortunately, I haven't had access to many trinkets to test this thoroughly but I didn't notice a difference between RP (and later DLRP) and Machimba's Bandages
I believe castable shields like PW:S and Cocoon follow the 2nd set.

I wouldn't put too much thought into it, tbh. Bandages lasts like 6 seconds so realistically it doesn't matter too much since it'll get chomped pretty fast. I'd use it like another cooldown, but just keep in mind you're getting "more" out of the listed shield amount IF you have IP going

that''s actually one of my bigger ?s. This interaction is more impactful when you're able to buffer the shield via IP over time. I believe that shield has a longer duration vs the 6 seconds. Considering how much we mitigate up front, you're getting a lot of value out of the shield as long as you're pumping IP.
