@candid ledge I have tried AV extensively and it heals less than a IV in some occasions and is amazing in others.
Since the icy veins guide is about raiding, I will give you my 2 cents about m+
AV is really good with a disc priest or a resto druid because they don't top you and focus on dps a lot of the time.

AV is not as good with holy palas and holy priests because you get topped way too often

I have a personal grime with AV because it procs way too rarandomly on bossfights to the point of proccing like twice in a 6:30 minute ghuun fight

wow, so the heirloom cloak.. when u buy it horde or alliance you get the other version.. what i didnt catch onto was that you have to upgrade both versions lol and the trinkets so 16k gold each to fully upgrade ontop of farming the tokens lol

after testing it for a bit it seems to hold somewhere around a 26~27% uptime for me (alch trink) so? it's like a perma 310~ str trinket with some versa..and makes your HP pot 40% stronger.

but due to proc nature, it means when you engage packs in M+ it's often going to proc immediately giving you a really strong opener..so overall a solid trinket.

The difference being that the actual way procs function means that for M+ it means every other pack you're probably going to open up with a proc immediately making it strong in that situation.
