Yes, it's because it grants a fairly large amount of Mastery, which gives AP. And it's a guaranteed Mastery increase during Avatar, which itself combined with BV are big damage multipliers.

When we were progressing on Zul i had to write a full A4 for my RL to understand that BLockades is not the "gamechanging" trinket he thinks it is.

Failing to reach DPS check, people pad on crawgs and killing them, failing to cc hexers, failing to re-CC hexers, failing to soak pools in phase 2, my cotank dying from bleed on p2, failing to bounce debuffs sometimes
overall need more practice untill we get into it i guess

we have geared DH but they made me (BM) kiting crawgs which was awful, then our DK started kiting (way better) and out ret went tanking, was ok until p2 where he dies 😉

problem is not crawg tank dying, problem is they hit tank and heal and cant be killed in time before they explode
i also dislike that RL have to call out every single little thing, this way people never learn to watch stuff by themselves and show initiative

i have 1 390 head with archive and revenge trait and 1 390 chest with the shield slam dmg trait... now luckily my only dc item is my 375 shoulder so that is basically set. now for my 390s should i go for the prot traits or archive? or should i go for 375 BoM or anything else 375?

Hi guys since 8.1 I start to play my warrior again (was BrM for progress) but I'm getting shit on on some fights (like Mythrax, getting 1shot by melee-shear-melee combos for example). I managed it in the end but my guild officers are not convinced that warrior is solid. would you recommend gearing for versatility for magic heavy fights like mythrax? anyway i'm also probably playing like shit so I have to improve on cooldwns management aswell

@prisma viper those are based off of last expansion. Sanguine kinda blows this expansion with pugs beacuse most dungeons are pretty tight. Tol Dagor is the worst contender. Skitting is essentially a non-affix for prot warriors since we deal hella damage

you'll SB->LS+SR the sheer
next main tanking is SB Uptime -> SR + SW the sheer
by the time the next combo is up your LS is back up
and then you'll transition into add
you want to be constantly pumping IP to prep for sheer

Mythrax prog in my guild was one of my best achievement as ProtWar (it was only HM (or was it very early NM?) but still).
Healer complaining they can't kep the tanks alive.

the way prot plays hasn't changed, we just got a boost to our overall durability and our rotation got 'sped' up slightly due to ignore pain being off gcd.
