so the icyveins guide says that earthlink is far worse than lifespeed.
earthlink grants 15-90 str and it diminishes down and ramps back up every 6 seconds. It averages out to 52.5 strength
Lifespeed grants 64 haste and 32 avoidance.
So 52.5 strength is definitely better than 64 haste, but is 32 avoidance really strong enough to make up that difference? or is there something I'm missing here?

I wouldnt say "far worse", it's one tier below. Both sound pretty meh. Possibly related to the fact that one is a flat boost and one cycles, thus might not give full benefit when you need it

I've had a lot easier time in pugs being able to interrupt and control multiple important casts with DK
because of Asphyxiate, Grip, and Gorefiend's

aoe stuns have also been nerfed across the board

BV provides ~2 times as much rage as Devastator, so you do lose out on quite a lot of rage.
But I mean, if you want to run devastator, go ahead. Just know that you're generating less rage because of it. Realistically if you're playing well it won't matter that much, you'll just be a bit weaker.

Azerite veins is insanely OP in overworld pvp if you stack 2/3 pieces of it...fun in 'easy' content too. In anything challenging it's a nice little HP regen buffer but doesn't make you reduce damage at all so ultimately not as good for content where you take a LOT of damage. (raids)
